Im hearing from a source at the club Manchester United set to offer 10m and either cleverly/anderson in exchange for james mccarthy. You heard anything ed?

Hope Jimmy Mc wants to stay but if not then Cleverley + 15m is where negotiations start

Ye my sentiments exactly mate, hope this is just the journos stirring the pot a bit. Jimmy Mc was quality last year after his 13m move. The money and players to exchange are both ridiculous. Cleverly must be worth all of 2m, and I'm being generous at that, Anderson possibly £2.99 so where do they get 10m plus one of these two?

From what Iv heard McCarthy to United is looking increasingly likely, perhaps why Besic was brought in as with Barry, Besic and Gibson we seem t have enough defensive mid. Anderson is useless but Bobby clearly rates Cleverly (only Bobby and Cleverlys mum do mind). I'd rather pure cash deal if he is going to go, splash out to get some back up for Rom!

Hi all, You can rest assured Martinez favorite son McCarthy is going nowhere, he will be next to sign a new long term contract rumoured to be before the window closes. Only a huge offer of 30+ would be even considered and may still be rejected, as McCarthy is very happy with us. Don't foresee any of our first team being allowed to leave in this window.
