the news I have is McCarthy is signing a new long term deal!

If the original poster has heard this from a genuine and reliable source, then that's very good news, but if it's just a piece of wishful thinking that's been repeated over and over again without being checked at some point so that it appears to be true and the poster is just part of the chain passing it on, then I feel that it's just a rumour - but that's what this website is for of course ;-)

A friend of mine sat next to McCarthy's mum & dad at the tranmere pre season game & he said they said that lukaku was signing & James will sign a new 5yr contract, I said to him that he was full of rubbish but then lukaku signed, so fingers crossed

Sid, I got this news from a guy on *twitter* I know not to trust twitter but this is a reliable guy, he got Lukaku, Atsu, Barkley, Stones right so why couldn't he get this right
