Ed, would everton attempts to get depay in on loan be purely down to uncertainty about his character, or is it something to do with FFP? If it is down to FFP, then I would think if we sign schneiderlin then it might very well conclude evertons business in this window or at least the big money business . q

{Ed002's Note - Everton's original approach was to take Depay on loan and I suspect it would have been for the club to see how he would perform after so long out. Manchester United want to sell him and are talking to other clubs - but they will have similar concerns.}

Mourinho said in a interview last week that depay is a great lad, that he's hard working and a good professional. And the reason he doesn't play him is that he asked to leave a while ago . I personally think he would thrive under RK
