Hi ed001 have you heard of us making a move or enquiries for berahino. Or is this belofidl fella an alternative thanks in aaabance.

{Ed001's Note - Berahino is more of a last resort mate. Belfodil is the one Koeman likes. By the way, I saw someone further down the page questioning Walsh, perhaps they should check out more of his work. He is, imo, the best signing of the summer, in the Prem.}

Think the vast majority of us agree with you ed. Ill trust his judgment and support whoever he recommends

{Ed001's Note - glad to hear that, he knows what he is doing. He won't get every signing right, but he will improve recruitment massively.}

Do you rate Belfodil, Ed? Hadnt even heard of him.

{Ed001's Note - he was a standout in the UAE Gulf League, but the standard is not the highest. Looks to be maturing into a very good footballer, but I have not seen enough of him in Europe to see how he gets on against a better level of player though.}

Ed001 Walsh was the best signing of last summer? How about the best signing in the last 10 years! He will make things happen.

{Ed001's Note - could well be for Everton. I was talking about for the entire Prem though. Over the last ten years I think Claudio Ranieri for Leicester, along with Walsh joining them, would be above him joining yourselves. For now at least. In five year's time, he could well prove me wrong by finding you the signings to win a league, but I don't think we will see that happen, at least not within that timeframe. Mind, I never thought I would ever see Leicester win the Prem!}

Could be a steal for the quoted price then?

{Ed002's Note - What "quoted" [rice would that be?}

£10.4 million, Phil McNulty, bbc reporter.

{Ed002's Note - The price is in euros and not GBP and the third-party who is involved will take a percentage on top - perhaps McNulty should share information in the correct currency?}

I read that it's £4 million and the player is also taking a percentage to keep the real total private. Probably just rubbish tho. Tbf, his price doesn't bother me, it's not my money they are spending

{Ed002's Note - Twitter I suppose. You cannot keep the real total quiet - every transfer is recorded on the TMS.}

Article on the NewsNow site. Stay well clear of Twitter. Don't even have an account.

{Ed002's Note - You should stay clear of that then as well.}

Maybe so ed. I'm just looking forward to seeing who we have signed by end of January.
