Danny Rose being talked about again this morning in the rags. Type of quality we need to add to improve, just can’t see it coming off myself.

Two years too old for that sort of money IMO. We should be aiming to sign 21-25 year olds.

Right age for immediate impact to the team and proven in the premiership just perhaps a bit much for his age
If we were going to splash that much I think we could get Tierney which would be a better investment or that Aaron Martin perhaps?

The market dictates who is available, and at what price. As a club with money (feels weird saying that after years with none) we know there’s a premium for top players. As Southern Toffee said - he’d make an immediate impact. We need 3 or 4 players like him, and then youngsters to add depth. We can’t just expect to sign kids to take us higher than 8th - we need, and Mosh will want, a few to take us forward quickly.

Totally agree Blue, and let’s be honest both the new manager and DOF will want to see some immediate impact as well as Moshiri and all us fans.

Agree too, we need to buy players in their prime, who can come in and improve the team immediately. Too often in the past we’ve bought young players with potential, only to see them not fulfil it or be sold to the likes of Man Utd and Man City when they do.
