Seeing links to another young Argentinian Adolfo Gaich who plays CF for the u20’s along with this Sosa
Wouldn’t this be another scenario we would have work permit issues with?

{Ed002's Note - Yes, there would be WP issues. There are talks with two other European sides interested.}

Those being the Italian sides? Hearing Genoa mentioned

I know Brands has had success in South American talent before I assume there wasn’t the same WP criteria for those?

{Ed002's Note - Genoa as you say ST and Eintracht Frankfurt.}

Ed quick question, with the Dutch league are there not the same restrictions with signing players is it only over here we fall foul of these work permit rulings?
Puzzles me why we would keep looking at players, albeit for the future, who will fall foul of these WP rules.

{Ed002's Note - It varies depending on local rules. In the UK the HMG rules apply.}

Sorry Ed2 if you answered this before but do you mean Her Majesty's Government rules or does HMG mean something else.

{Ed002's Note -

Yes, government.}

It’s crazy when the likes of Barcelona/ Real get young unknown players from South America at 14,15, 16 yrs old with no problem.
I’m also certain Man City have a young Argentine in the youth side/ U23 and no doubt Chelsea, Man U etc wil have a South American (will need to check) The only way the city player can be here is he was classed as a special talent which we can’t seem to get ours classed as.

{Ed001's Note - usually those players have passports for EU countries.}

The process is very difficult to understand and even if the required points can be accumulated the application can still be turned down. Genuinely, after reading up on it, I can safely say I’m no better off for trying to understand it.
