Seamus Coleman will not sign for United just as Leighton Baines didnt. If he wants to leave for success and trophies then he would join City, Chelsea or even Arsenal. United post Fergie have lost the fear factor and will struggle to regain any power within the league just as Liverpool did early 90's. Look at there starting 11 and then what they have on the bench? Other than de gea and maybe rooney who would you have out of there 11 over ours?

Bluegray,

I think you needed to add 'I hope' at the beginning of what you just said. Its quite worrying that you actually believe any of what you just posted. If you really think united aren't going to be winning trophies again soon then you haven't been paying attention to what is happening.

I honestly didn't come on to this page to argue, but some of the United hatred just because sky linked us with one of your players is crazy.

Its called a Napoleon Complex GDS2. Can't come on this page for a sensible chat ever. Tried to discuss Moyes here a while back and had to wade through a pool of bitterness to fish out any sense.

GDS2, the United hatred isn't because you are linked with one of our players mate, it's because of a lot of your fans attitudes, ask most other fans and they all dislike United/Liverpool, that's what comes with winning on a regular basis, well that applies to you guys, everyone dislikes Liverpool because they are still living in the past and believe they are a top club still, spending 100s of millions every year doesn't make you a top club

Take all this link with players with a pinch of salt anyway because according to the press you are linked with everyone

Do you honestly believe United r the same draw without Ferguson at the club, players signed for him not for United, now you r stuck buying across from Madrid and begging players (de gea) not to leave yas for a bigger club, it's pathetic, yas r turning into Liverpool, and ad rather go into administration than b told my club is turning into Liverpool, take your goalkeeper and Rooney out ov your team and your stoke at best

Murf,

That makes sense with Liverpool, they haven't won the league for 25 years, united won the league 2 years ago and have had to go through a huge period of change with one of the greatest managers ever leaving, it was always going to be a tricky time, but a club with the commercial size of united and the amount of money we can spend aren't going anywhere, anyone who says different is just being hopeful. It's not arrogant to say we are rich, it's a fact.

Unfortunately, and I don't like it as much as you, but football is a lot about money now, if you think united are only a top club because they spend a lot of money then you are mistaken, if rival clubs spend huge amounts of money the only way to keep up with them is to spend the same amount, it's just the way the game is these days, it's a business, in any walk of life if your competitors spend big you have to do the same. How exactly do you judge a big club of it isn't on history or money or size of fan base?

johny,

Do you believe that or just on a wind up? Without Rooney we are Stoke at best, and you wonder why we say we can't get a sensible conversation on here.

Just because you have decided we are turning into Liverpool doesn't mean we actually are, I'm not sure players signed for Fergie rather than for united, you show your comments come from a place of hatred when you say things like that, you have no idea why players signed for us, and we have signed some top players since Fergie left but don't let the truth get in the way of your wind up.

There seems to be a massive complex about United amongst Everton fans, making things up that we haven't even said just to start an argument and trying to put us down at any opportunity just because in your warped mind we are no longer a big club because we haven't won a trophy for a couple of years.
