Good win today, much needed lift for all, but to be fair we're talking about Southampton here, it's just papering over the cracks if there's no real quality coming in before window closes IMO

Not at all, we're all chuffed today, can't possibly see that team play every week for a whole season though can you, Ed don't kid yourself it's one game and we need resources.

{Ed025's Note - im not one to kid myself baz, as i always say...one swallow does not a summer make, your dead right we do need players, but it does show that when the tactics are right we have some fine players and a quality team mate..

Yes its only Southampton, the same Southampton that finished 13 points and 4 places ahead of us last season. They are a decent side no doubting that.

Agree ed.the saints are no mugs.we were great today.others have strengthened this summer but we do have a cracking squad,and when playing like we do today,we can beat anybody.

{Ed025's Note - without sounding negative dentie will we play with that intensity at home?, we seem to thrive against teams that attack us and let us play the counter attacking role, i just hope we can play the pressing game as well as today against teams that sit back, if we do then this could be a great season mate..
