I can't believe it either, he was only 80. I consider it a privilege to have seen him play. RIP Alex.

Tears in my eyes, I am in my sixties and watched the golden vision play with my dad many years ago, he was my dads favourite player.
To watch him an Roy Vernon playing together was a wonderfull site, and Alex allways a gentleman on and off the pitch.

All my thought to Alex's family at this time, I hope the club will pay a tribute to this great player, a minutes applause at the next game please.
