Obviously Koeman and Walsh have their #1 priority signing objectives and if they do not work out they will have backups and even backups to the backups. It could however end in us not being able to sign all of the targeted players in which case we will end up with less further additions than planed. While not being happy, what I do like about this scenario, is that I trust this management team not to make any rash last minute signings just to make up the numbers. It is important to get in the right players and not just make up the numbers. There will be more transfer windows and better opportunities to get in class players.

Mike, I'm worried about that too. Martinez could be one of those buys. Hope I'm wrong although RK should have seen enough of him at Southampton to know what he can do. Reading about the press suggesting Tottenham look at Mahrez instead of Barkley. If we don't get Gylfi, and he would be my first choice, I think Mahrez would be a good buy as he will give us the width, provide assists, just not as good with the dead ball, free kicks etc?

{Ed025's Note - i think mahrez will end up at roma dante..
