big sam better option than dyche at the moment guys, he's been there and done it we needhim in, if only temporary, job to big for dyche they havin ok season upto now doesn't mean he good enough for us, the pressure at everton a lot bigger than burnley and in my opinion he will struggle, like moyes at united out of his depth, he good on a budget at a club with not much pressure on you, exactly what koeman is had money at us and struggled so get sam in till end season he will get us back to basics then look round leave dyche were he is, in january sell mirralas schneiderlin sandro klaasan and get some decent players in, attacker and centre half a must, bring barkley an bolasie an coleman back in then we be fine.

Agreed. I only know Big Sam by what I read, but the "been there done that" is what we need. And yes there are players who may not be to par with the team's needs, but if most of them were not being used appropriately by RK, then who knows.

Sandro may need six months in the U23's. Same with Vlasic. They may need a six month loan to the Championship or League One.

Gylfi - we paid for a number 10, so put him there. Coleman and Bolasie and perhaps Barkley will be like new signings. An old hand like Big Sam may be the one to put the puzzle pieces to where they should have been on Day 1.

This year, with no effective true striker, I might rather trust the a manager with a solid floor (no relegation) than a manager we dream may have unlimited potential (Martinez, RK, Dyche, . )

This will not be a top five year. But it could set us up for a great 2018-19 (not having Thursday nights in Eastern Europe with EL) .

And a thousand apologies to Niasse. I'll bet he's a pro on the practice pitch too.

Big Sam may save us from relegation but that's it. He's mid table boss at best. If he comes I hope it's a stop gap until we get better. I'd plump for Silva but he may not leave Watford after just joining, but after seasons over who knows.
