A question for any of the Ed's.

Why don't we play teams in the second half of the season in the same order as we do for the first half?

Nah we dont. Played Stoke first game and playing Bournemouth next.

There are always lots of dates when teams are unable to play at home due to other events happeing in their area so it would be impossible to schefule everyone to play in the same order twice. The fixture organisers are given all the dates month in advance in order to profuce the fixture list for all the leagues and no club gets precedence over anyy other large or small.

To be fair the League schedule management is an absolute wonder. Anyone who has attempted to keep a shift schedule on course will testify to.
