I have to say even though he's done a thankless task this season Martina - and Siggs - were at fault for their goal. Where were they? Very poor defending indeed.

Don’t blame Siggerson mate. Only one player to blame Martina. Didn’t come out to block the cross, and played all of them onside. The guy is bloody awful, you telling me we don’t have better in the u23s?

Lack of pace and out of position for Sigs, Martina just nothing about him defensively, plays go around him far too easy. Need a winger on that left at least. Rooney sub.

In my opinion Siggs should be backing him up if he's partnering him on the left, but tbf the rest of the defence all got sucked towards the ball. Basic errors by Pro players.

Martina was tracking the player running into box. If he went out to aurier and the ball was played to the runner instead he would still be blamed. Like Ferdinand says, Jags should not be that far out the 18 yard box when a midfielder could of picked up Kane.

Is Shakespeare still in the stand whispering to the dugout through their gadgets? If so surely he can report what we can all see and that Martina is dire, his defending is indefensible. Oh and some shots on target would be a nice pleasant surprise please, maybe at least 2 per game?

I was following the game on BBC on-line. From the kick-off, they said Spurs were targeting Everton's left flank. We all know that Martina is weak (even though he is playing out of position) but with Sigurdsson in front of him, he has very little protection. Surely our management should have seen this and altered our set-up? Spurs first goal came from problems down this flank.
