We need to stop believing we are are a top six side and make changes in the summer with squad and manager if needs be. right now we are rubbish but we just need to get behind the team. Until the end of season we need goodison to be rocking every game and away because right now our club needs us. big Sam isn't everyone's cup of tea and not mine either but he shouldn't be blamed for everything as this is not his team yet. He is trying to make us more solid as he has a lot of bang average players. Big summer clear out jags, Baines, basic, naisse, schnids, Keane, klassen, sandro, Joel, strecklburg, can all go in my opinon. Let big Sam bring in his own team then judge him until then stop moaning . we only need 13 more points and we are safe and we will do that as there is worse teams. let's start this weekend screaming for the blues . Come on you blues!

SA is in exactly the same place RK was last season we all knew RK needed to bring in his own players so when he spent a fair amount of money getting some of them we all rejoiced. 15 weeks into what should have been a 2-3 year project he gets the boot. Did he get time to bed in his players no but its now a results based game so fans start whinging at any prolonged difficulty and the owners fear the worst and he gets the boot. Now SA is not my favorite manager but we need to look at giving who ever is the manager time to sort out a bad run, unless we get an owner who is willing to throw endless amounts of cash at the team. As for massive clear outs and buying of new players well we have seen what happens when you buy loads of players in one go it takes time for them to gel. As for selling players well there needs to be someone who actually wants to buy them. Unless your happy to take a loss or even let them go on a free then the player really needs to want to leave in the first place otherwise you are likely to build a toxic relationship with the players that remain especially if they think their mates have been hard done by. It's not like they can be sacked for under performing although that would probably improve performances no end.

Agree with most of clearout. I’d keep Keane and get shot of Williams and Mc Carthy as always injured. Get a centre half to partner Keane plus a LB. will need a lot of millions in today’s market to replace 6 or 7 players 😫😫.

Agree with you sa90 there isn't no quick fix. I was just saying those players need to leave as they are either no good any more or they are just average players I wasn't saying how this could be done. So even more important to give whoever is manager time. And yes I would say Williams and Lennon I'm afraid. I think we have been put back years and we need stability not a club that chips the manager every five mins.

Holgate to partner Leane. Holgate is quality jags or Williams to stay as cover with Mori to return. The players are there apart from LB it’s just getting them together for a run of games and getting confidence back 7pts in next two games would help.
