Good win today and made up for Cenk, but that game just shows we have a tremendous amount of work to do come the summer, there will no doubt be movement in and out the team and also maybe management as well, but hey we can't through another season like this one.

Don't rely on secondary views GB. I thought we played quite well, Rooney slotted into Sigs rightful slot, albeit not as good. Davis for me is still not the lad we know he can be. Playing with two wide men to a bloke that knows where the goal is, is not rocket science and proven yet again.

I watched the match mate and for me Bolasie and Tom were both very poor, there was some good play but we need to improve all round this was a poor Stoke side fighting for their lives, wish he had put Klassen in for Tom.

Don't disagree with Klassen for Davis but it is balance, also agree with Bolasie being at best average. The point being though that with Tosun we need width. Don't care what tactics you deploy, but believe me you flap around someones rear end (wide men) even not knowing what you are doing, they will twitch.

The other obvious thing of course (for those that have watched the game) is that Bolasie for someone supposedly playing crap has supplied the cross and from that comes the goal.

ducksflysouth what game did you watch mate because Rooney played deep and Davies played higher up the pitch and took a lot of heavy hits.

Rooney was in the number 8. Davies then DCL played in Sigs role.

Personally, I'd rather have Davies number 7 with Rooney no 8. don't think Davies plays well in the 10. Klaasan should have been the 10 for me.

We've got to remember though he's 19. He won't peak for 7 or 8 years!

Best thing you have said for ages BJU. Some will want rid of him soon and the kid is full of potential and has an engine even if he does make mistakes. He works his socks off!

Correct on the numbers, yes Rooney nominally was alongside Gueye but he was often the driving force further forward. For me he is playing a sort of DM/ AM role, if you get my drift.

He does Degsy. He's got loads wrong with his game but he'll learn. When i look around though I don't see many at his level at his age especially in that role. It's a big responsibility as you can't go missing for a minute.
