Ok, being realistic, let's going to take more than one window to offload the apparent 12 to be culled. Given that, I think we need to focus therefore on jettisoning the following, realised via fire-sale and / or paying a proportion of wages / on loan if needs be:

- Williams (a walking catastrophe it pains me to say)
- Mirallas (a petulant and inconsistent prima donna, particularly since Moyes left)
- Schneiderlein (scandalous lack of effort in the first half of the season not to be forgotten)
- Martina (simply not good enough)
- Robles (happy with Stek as back-up and promotion from U23s for the time being)
- Bolasie (a lovely smile and delightful; personality does not make up for a lack of final product)
-Sandro (if he wants out and is settled in Spain, I see no point in forcing him to stay. also struck me as a somewhat of a lightweight headless chicken)
- Klaassen (suspect a fresh start is needed by all concerned.

Given what we're facing and the absolute need to determination, togetherness and a strong work-ethic, I'd retain those players that might not play a part beyond this season, but who can offer something here and now. That would include Rooney, Niasse, Jags, Baines, Besic, Funes Mori.

Lookman must start and I'd like to see Vlasic in the squad come August. Dowell to be given a chance this season, Colgate restored and DCL given less starts and greater opportunity to study and mature on the bench - we expected far too much of him last season.

Signings? A LB (although the American kid looks tasty) , 1, preferably 2 CBs, a mercurial AM and a forward capable of plundering 20 a season. Not much to ask, haha!

Don't disagree with much you say but would move Rooney, Besic, Niasse and Funes Mori to the to go list purely because we won't be able to get rid of all of them

Rooney and Funes Mori I think want to go, Niasse hasn't the skill levels we require and Besic, I like but I think we are going to get in one, maybe two better.

Im sure we will get a large number of the 12 of the books.

Niasse should be 1st out of the door. People want him to stay because of his bad treatment and then are blinded by what he offers which is very very little. He severely lacks skill, runs around like a headless chicken and his goals scored are very scruffy, more luck that they go in than anything.
He is a long way from PL standard and should be shipped out asap to put an end to this sentimentality we seem to have for him.

Spot on Worcester. Not a top six striker and still at the club because of sentiment. No room for that if you want to win stuff.

I would personally keep the 3 strikers we have got and build around them. A winger, a CM, a CB and a LB. Maybe an AM as well. Then I think the season after this one we should be in a better position the capture the right striker. From the list of outs I would keep jags and ship the rest out. Klassen on loan for me. Lascelles as the CB.

Niasse scores some good and important goal, the scruffy lucky ones were due to his persistence and work rate, I would keep him as back up sort of player you want coming on for the last 20/ 15 mins if we are up against it.

He was in the squad because he can score goals. He works harder than anyone and seems to lift those around him. As third choice, I would keep him. Makes no sense to put Tosun and Dom third choice striker. What do you reccomend we buy a third choice striker or buy two and loan Dom out?

I disagree. What happens of Tosun gets injured? Do we rely on DCL as our only striker?
Sandro isn't coming back, Rooney is off to sun it up in America so I don't see any issue with keeping him until January at least. Also Niasse is the only striker who has played in Silvas pressing style before.
Let's not do a Lukaku or Barry and get rid before we have a settled replacement.
