Mad isn't it, man utd finish second last season and win a trophy and are above us in the league yet sack the manager, and we are glad to be in the top ten.

I think the difference is UTD are used to winning the league, being up there challenging, this has been built up over many many years, we aren't, we are now trying to build, that's the difference, it doesn't happen over night.

As you say Simon United have become used to being up there with the best and challenging for everything, so much so it is now expected, even demanded of them. Anything less than perfection is deemed a failure.

Come on Skylark, there’s a big discrepancy in that argument. Man U did the triple 13 years after we won the title and pretty much beat all comers for another 15 years after that.
