I think they should bring one of us passionate fans in to give the team talk before just 1 match, to tell them overpriced and overpaid players what this club is all about and what it means to us.

I’d tell them “it’s like every exam you’ve ever taken and you know the answer to every question is 100% Everton, yet every exam result day is a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and your told you’ve failed or just scraped a C but if you want to go further you need to do better or you’ll amount to nothing, and next doors kid gets A* in everything and your sick in the stomach then they show the nation on television how stupid you were to think that Everton is the answer. Yet the next exam you do the same and hope that one day it will be an A* because you’re sick of being told you’re not good enough. I’m nearly 57 and it still hurts and my answer will always be Everton
