Yes we breached 1 rule, we were 19.5m overspent over a three year period. 19.5m. Now to your average person living in the real world that an awful lot of money. But in the crazy world of football it's peanuts.
From what i have read the club argued that because of C.V. they were not able to sell players and that material costs for the new ground had increased beyond what was expected.
None of this was taken into consideration by the panel.
I fully expect the club to appeal against this decision and hopefully a different panel will take into consideration all the reasons put forward, and come up with a reasonable penalty.

Not to mention losing player x for nothing and having to replace him, no doubt whilst still paying his wages for a period of time.

Moshiri didn’t help by officially filing the argument that he had to replace our non-existent midfield. Were bang to rites, but 10 points is definitely disproportionate.
