I presume you haven't and I wouldn't take note of whatever the Manc poster said. He came on the Liverpool page a couple of days ago and was basically making out that every player we have is inferior to United! And then back tracked when he got a avalanche of posters disagreeing with him. Obviously can't hack that his team isn't what it use to be.
Another person who thinks just because a club can't spend 60 million on one player they're small . Ignoring a clubs history and future plans to make them progress. Thinks success should happen instantly.

Great response Ed025 to that Moon Rhino from Old Trafford. Utd fans are impatient after last season when Moyes didn't live up to immediate expectations. Now that they're actually spending money again (but at inflated prices) they expect immediate success and it's still not happening this season at this stage. They've spent big but are still lacking two quality central defenders and a holding midfielder, unless Smalling, Evans and Carrick are going to be immediate first choices.
{Ed025's Note - the thing is davey that it was just a nasty attack for no reason, if he had a valid point or even a bit of humour in it then i may have been a bit lenient, but i wont have abuse just for the sake of it, i like visitors to our pages, but like a guest coming to my house i expect them to be respectful mate..
2.) I can only presume that he's feeling a little insecure because his club has spent a lot of money but still has Smalling and Jones as a centre back partnership. There's nothing wrong with us bigging our team up, as in my opinion, along with (unfortunately) Liverpool we played the best football last season, and despite our average start there's no reason why we can't challenge for the top four this season. I also think it was out of order to insult the fans, as, again only from my experience (a little bit bias) we have some of the best fans in the country. I don't remember any Man United fans making any noise last December when I went to Old Trafford.

Just been looking through the posts and come across the penalties one. I'm by no means having a go here.
But correct me if I'm wrong, Manchester city got the 2nd most penalties after Liverpool. Liverpool and Manchester City also completely out scored every other team in the premier league.Coincidence?
We have smart, tricky, agile players like Suarez, Aguero, Silva, Sturridge etc.Admittedly, a couple of the penalty decisions have been debatable. And we both play 2 strikers unlike most of the league.
In Everton's recent history, you have had players such as lukaku, yakubu, anichebe, Jelavic. Players not renown for there tricky-ness nor agility or speed. I really think most of
you are looking for the easy way out here, which is to call us cheats.

1.) It's not something I don't think any fan of any club wants to see. But if your team gets a pen from a dive, score it and win a game would you complain! Hell no :) I think we actually would have got more pens if it wasn't for the roll after the impact.

2.) Suarez in particular mate yea . the only one really in the Liverpool team. Hard for anyone to deny that he doesn't throw in a roll. I think there are much worse divers than him, but that's his main problem. I don't think there is a team in the league who don't do this. Part of the game now.

Don't think that suarez is the only 'nimble' as you put it attacking player liverpool has that simulates. Consider also coutinho, sterling, and sturridge all I believe of the same ilk. Quite similar to big centre halfs use 'brute force' to win the ball by any means necessary, a couple of names always come to mind are terry and shawcross, but i'm sure other big centre backs do it also, its just a matter of how often they do it which draws the attention of other fans. Which brings me back to my point, everton and other teams in the prem have 'nimble' players such as barkley, osman, deloufeu and mirallas. all attacking players who dribble in the final third of the pitch, however they do not simulate AS OFTEN as the aforementioned players hence the original post highlighting how many penalties both liverpool and man city have won this year compared to the rest of the teams in the league. Is that really a coincidence? I also believe both home supporters particularly in man utd, liverpool, chelsea, arsenal and man city's cases can be a huge influence on referees decisions (not because of the noise that is made by the home support appealing the award) as I believe the majority of teams supporters make a similar noise, but by bias towards the 'norm' of the elite 4. I also believe referees have a different view on what a foul consists of outside the box and what is a foul inside the box, similar changes in rules do not seem to apply to the 'elite 4' . This ultimately makes the difference between how many penalties are awarded to each team in the league, not just coincidence.
4.) Agreed Mowhawk, best attacking teams will obviously get the most pens it's not rocket science, also agree that it's part of the game. However I have an irrational dislike for Suarez so deep that I can't agree he isn't the worst. He is the worst "sportsman" to play the game of football on these shores and despite his undoubted ability is a disgrace to the game along with Busquets, Alves (even though I liked the banana eating way of dealing with racists) and Robben. All of them despite being good players can do one as far as I'm concerned. Dzeko was an idiot at Goodison as well and I don't understand how their own embarrassment doesn't effect them.
Anyway I unlike many blues don't really have issue with yous just dislike Suarez and the choker that is your manager
5.) All of this talk about penalties fails to take into account one key fact: RM has stated that he much prefers to score goals from open play and not from set-pieces!
That's even though we've scored some cracking goals from direct free-kicks (Baines, Mirallas, Barkley) and Baines has been masterful with those penalties we have been awarded.
However, not too many goals scored from corners. In fact, it seems like we've been (uncharacteristically considering previous seasons with Jagielka and Distin) defensively vulnerable from corners and other free-kicks.
Anyone else got any observations?

7.) Sir Alex Rednose used to intimidate refs so much that it was almost guaranteed that his team got penalties or edge of the box free kicks to score from. David Moyes would not permit this and our team is based mostly on his players. It was apparent to me that when he went to Utd, the fear factor disappeared. This has been a big problem for them at Utd and for us at Goodison. I particularly remember the season with Andy Johnson being fouled game after game and I think we got our first penalty in the last game of the season. These were blatant penalties that were never given. Likewise, Mr Mourihno at Chelsea is now instigating a fear for refs atmosphere at their stadium. How many games have they won with dubious last minute decisions. I really feel for refs, but they are put under incredible pressure by certain managers. RM is too innocent in this. He never comments on poor ref decisions except to say the ref got it wrong in his opinion. Similar to Moyes. I went to Anfield to watch them against Sheffield Utd a few seasons ago and they got 2 pens that day. One was so embarrassing. Gerrard had a player holding him at a corner kick as per every game, so sunk to his knees. He never even fell over or looked as if he was being restricted. Ref immediately gave pen. 2nd of the day. We average one per season. In a good season we have 2 pens.

Hello evertonians, just got back from the Hillsborough memorial service. I just wanted to say what a credit Roberto Martinez is to your club. Very moving speech and an all round top bloke. Justice for the 96!

Did you really expect a 19 year old kid with previously no PL experience, who was also playing out of position, to step up to the plate on a night where his team mates clearly didn't turn up to play? Suarez is top quality yes but my point is that when he leaves an your only getting 15/20 goals from sturridge an maybe 10 from the rest of ye team = 30 a year what will ye be saying then when ye a mid table team. Even if Liverpool do have success it will be success they have bought can you say the same about us no you can't because we spend very little so any success we have its through hard work not money.

You're spot on toffee Al. I'm a scouser and support Liverpool. Doesn't mean anyone who isn't a scouser shouldn't be allowed to support Liverpool or Everton though.
Ha ha I was deflated to but if you can't be optimistic what is the point in football? I personally believe it will be a close and very competitive game. With let's be honest, both of ours teams playing pretty Sh**e at the moment! :)

Seriously you're just writing a game off as a defeat? I know your record at anfield isn't great but how can you do that. I'd be looking at this as your best opportunity in a while to beat us at anfield . I expect us to be up for the game but we have struggled thus far, although I believe that'll change by Christmas. It's embarrassing that you're defeated already!
