Does anyone know what happens if a prem team wins the Europa league (us fingers crossed!) and finishes outside of the top 4? Would the team in 4th miss out on champs league or would an extra place be given? imagine taking the place from the rs! icing on the cake!

1.) However, if English teams won the UEFA Champions League (UCL) and the UEFA Europa League (UEL), but both finished outside the top four of the English Premier League (EPL), then both would get a UCL spot alongside the EPL top three, while the fourth-placed EPL team would only get a UEL spot. England can only have a maximum of 5 UCL spots - and normally only has 4 - and only gets 3 UEL spots whatever the scenario.
So, in the above scenario, if other (different) teams won the FA Cup and the Capital Cup, they'd get 2 of the UEL spots alongside the fourth-placed EPL team - and finishing fifth wouldn't get any European football!

Not a rumour but saw a report earlier that currently Magaye Gueye is having a "trial" at millwall. Sad to see really as he looked desperate to impress when he made appearances for us. Shows that you need more than potential to succeed. Hope he finds a club soon.

Yeah, you need even a modicum of ability. He tried quite hard, but was nowhere near premier league standard. Never looked skillful, but he usually did alright against lower league players, so let's hope that's his level and he'll succeed.

I thought del boy was the next ronaldo?! It would be nice to get the next James Rodriguez! But agree with ed, we need some signings as at the moment the clubs time and money seems to be all about trying to secure the same squad that we had last season. We need to be looking at improving the squad so I hope we have some quality loans in the pipe line on top of replacements for Rom and del boy, not forgetting our current squad will all be another year older which is a concern when you think of distin, baines, jags, kone, barry, osman, hibbo, pienar, alcaraz especially with the extra games on a thursday!
Rumours today suggest he wants to fight for a place at Chelsea and wants champions league football. he won't be signing for us, I think the 20 odd million would be better spent elsewhere anyway
