Rumour has it, Barkley is now injured. Great!

BradEFC

1.) Just seen this myself lad, can't see it tho' I'm sure Everton would have released a statement by now if he was definitely injured. But they are saying 10 weeks due to his knee. So if it is true we'll need a boss loan to fill his boots

2.) Six weeks i'm hearing jay.

3.) Someone just text me 6-8 weeks. Injured in training.

4.) Now we need to sign players

Deulofeu going to Sevilla on loan?

Just heard a quote that we receive a £5mil selling on fee for Rodwell. Anybody know how true this is?

BradEFC

{Ed025's Note - no way pedro..there may be a small sell on fee brad, but 50% is nonsense mate..

1.) 05 Aug 2014 09:59:20
Thought it was too good to be true, wishful thinking! Thanks anyway

2.) Don't sell on fees normally kick in if the player is sold at a profit? The sell on is then a percentage of said profit. That's my understanding anyway.

3.) We won't get a penny, city sold him off for what they paid for him

Everton Make £2.5m Bid for Bosnia-Herzegovina Star Muhammed Besic

BradEFC

1.) Really hope we sign him. Played really well against Messi and this young and cheap he is an ideal backup center mid.

Is there anyway a new Everton could hold Athletics like the mayor want, without having a track around the pitch? Athletics stadiums lack atmosphere. You wouldn't even be able to hear the infamous boos.

BradEFC

{Ed025's Note - i would not think so brad..

1.) 18 May 2016 08:36:46
They have retractable seating these days so you can have a track whilst keeping seats close to the pitch for football games.

2.) 18 May 2016 09:18:37
Is that what West Ham are having Sven.

3.) 18 May 2016 09:49:58
Ye there is. Olympic stadium I worked on has retractable seats they cover track and then move away when athletics is on. Stipulation of fa and roof must cover fans that's why we did the work last year.

4.) 18 May 2016 10:14:59
Cheers Pb that answers that one, even more excited now, multi use super stadium on the docks, I can hear the Koppites crying from my office now.

5.) 18 May 2016 10:23:16
Be great if it happens. We get a new home, that lot get an extension.

6.) 18 May 2016 11:03:37
Nice one Murf, they'll be even more gutted when we win the prem before them.

16 May 2016 12:50:26
Arteta on a coaching role anyone?

BradEFC

1.) 16 May 2016 13:43:42
We already had one muppet who did not know how to defend against open play, set pieces, corners etc! and we have better attack minded coaches already at the Club. I would rate Arteta very low down in priority.

2.) 16 May 2016 14:17:22
Supposed to be getting a coaching role at city with pep.

Liverpool bidding for the commonwealth games, would that he answer for our stadium plans

BradEFC

1.) 13 Apr 2016 09:11:39
That's not until 2026, hopefully we will have something in place by then.

2.) 13 Apr 2016 09:24:02
We'll end up sharing with Pembroke Harriers.

3.) 13 Apr 2016 16:12:53
Ye know what Longy I would wait the 10 years if this happened, imagine where this stadium would be built mate, prime location, prime transport links and massive development, this would be worth the wait and not as if we have not waited much anyway, what's another 10 years, even when our new stadium is decided it could take 5 years for planning and building work to finish, I hope this is true.

4.) 13 Apr 2016 16:48:42
One problem with waiting 10yrs murf could be finding somewhere else to play. How much longer is goodison going to be passed as fit for purpose? there's only so many licks of paint left on the place. The sooner the better a new ground move for me ino.

What's another ten years? Quite a lot when your in your late fifties mate. Want to go to the stadium, not be part of it. Always said I would have my ashes spread in Goodison, feel a bit weird being in a new ground. So bloody build one now and be QUICK!

Can someone tell me why we haven't got in for the liverpool waters project for the stadium

Kone has just completed Ramadan around this time so even if he is fit, he wouldn't be ready to play. We really need another option up front as we will be seriously exposed if Lukaku gets injured, or carries some of his poor form from last season into this season

And where would Barkley play there with Bony and Lukaku up front? Barkley has to sit behind Lukaku in a 4-2-3-1
