Just home from work and looking at transfers, I was hoping for some interest in a good centre half. It looks like all the deals are being done around us. This is a good test for RM, can he pull something out of the bag later tonight. I still believe he is the best man for the job and even if he can't bring in another CH he will get the ones we do have playing up to their best.

The next 36 hours are going to be critical for our season. We do need a centre half who can go straight into the team. However we don't need to panic and bring in players who are no better than those we have. I would like to see Stones given the next 3 games with a new CH as insurance and to replace Distin over the season.
1.) If duffy is not a better c/back than the two present ocupantes

I wasn't happy about taking Eto, but now we have him we should get behind him. We need a couple more, I'd take Ben Arfa and Richards as good squad players. Both have something to prove and need the opportunity.
1.) Jeez how many wide players do we need? Ben Arfa scores one decent goal a season and has part of a game where he plays well once a season, just ask Newckie fans.

I agree with most of the comments but think Januzaj would be worth a punt. We have a few we need to move on and he would be a good addition to the squad. The Lennon dealing will be interesting, Spurs seem to be playing hard ball but I think the price will fall back to nearer 6 million

I can't understand some people, after the first 3 games the doom merchants were out in force. It was a season too far for a lot of players. We were going to finish mid-table. Now we win away from home and put 4 past a good German side and the doom merchants are still moaning. It is a good job we didn't put 7 past them.
