Whats the crack with this Liverpool ready to off £38mil for Barkley, the Cheek of it, anyone shed any light on this

Not sure I read right but Scharner is claiming interest from us. this is shocking if its true, please put me out of my misery with this lol
1.) He did say we offered him a 3 year contract after the cup final and he's 33 now. Glad he knocked us back
2.) With dunc on the coaching staff haha
3.) Why would we offer him a deal after cup final when we didn't even have a manager. he must be on something ha!
4.) Its crap. It says Martinez offered him the deal. even though he wasn't our manager.
5.) You know it's as we would never offer a player that old a 3 year deal.

Jelavic being sold to add funds for a possible move for Mcarthy, although Hamburg may look for installments or a loan, I would prefer to keep the Jellyman. COYB
1.) I'd be bemused if we loaned him out. I think we need the cash upfront if we did sell.
I'd like him to stay but it looks like this may have some legs, and personally I think Martinez likes his forwards mobile, pacey and versatile so I wouldn't be surprised if we listened to offers.
At least a small profit on what we paid is a must if we do sell

2.) I would rather have Jelavic he'll bang them in again this season, if we need to raise money to buy any player Anichibe would go before Jelavic in my opinion. No way would I be forking out silly money for McCarthy from Wigan either!
3.) I really will lose faith if we get rid of Jelly, the lad had a poor season last year but in fairness moyes hardly give him any confidence, much the same as when we had the yak, he'd score a goal then get benched the following game in favour for Anichebe, now i'm not bashing anichebe at all but I think he was supposed to have been great last year in a lot of peoples eyes and score 6-7 league goals, jelly had an absolute mare and stil;l scored 7??
4.) So we go down to two strikers and buy a defensive midfielder. Don't think so.

Should have come a few years ago then instead of going to QPR, we would have jumped at the chance then but yet again another footballer who went to the highest bidder.

Unless baines or fellaini are holding the Utd jersey up then i'll believe it, Honda becoming a bore, maybe looking at creative midfielder but now Gibson giving RM a headache. i'd be happy to start with what we have COYB
1.) I agree with the Gibson comment, I know it's only pre season but he's ha two cracking games. I'd like to invest in another striker and let Vellios go on loan

Chill mate, Martinez will buy what he thinks is right for the club, we don't to waste in rubbish like some clubs, keep the loans till end of season then go from there.
