Come on guys I'm as frustrated as anyone with how things are going at the moment but whenever we get linked with a player its doom and gloom, if we haven't heard of them we shouldn't bother and if they have abit of class and pedigree there is no way in the world we will get them. Let's cross our fingers and hope we can get a couple of gems before the end of the month.

What the hell has happened to our team? As long as I can remember in my 32 years we have always prided ourselves on Everton's dogs of war fighting spirit, even in our darkest and most nerve shredding days (the 1-1 draw with Coventry in 1998 and our 3-2 win over Wimbledon in 1994) our fantastic spirit showed though to watch the ridiculous arguing last night was embarrassing and the players and Martinez should hang their heads in shame!
Which brings me onto Kevin Mirallas who despite his talent has an ego (and not a good one) that dwarfs it. I am truly sick and fed up of players like him trying to play the big man when they are not as good as they think they are, if we get a £10m+ bid get shut of him if he doesn't want to be a team player or he will sit on his big, fat wages on leave on a free in 18 months time. It's just a shame Steven Naismith isn't quite blessed with the talent of some of our players because his workrate and honesty is a joy to behold and exactly what we need to get out of this sh!t!

Hey guys if we let Eto'o go to Sampdoria what do you think about getting Januzaj on loan on the left, Lennon on the right and Mirallas just playing behind Lukaku, that could be pretty devastating just a thought.

Thats the least frightening thing I've ever seen, its like david walliams coming at ya, there is nothing remotely scary about it.

I think Naisy's been our best player this season. Not exactly tough competition mind.
4.) Yeah a lot less frightening than Atsu and McGeady? Who would you rather have Swan? Ross has all the potential in the world but what has he done this season to warrant a permanent 1st team place? Maybe sometime out of the limelight will do him good.
5.) Barkley could sit in crnter mid slong side mccarthy
6.) No point in having a devastating front line if we can't defend
we need a couple of centre halves

Problem is mate, atsu and mcgeady don't play together, its kev and mcgeady or kev and atsu. So yeah, unless your op was an attacking lineup you WONT see and I've misread it, but if that's what lineup you want to see then, god help us all.

When I said Atsu and Mcgeady they were the two wide players who haven't done a great deal in my opinion I'm just thinking if we could get two better wide players (and trying to think who we could realistically get) and move Kev into a free role there would be a lot of pace and flexibility in that line-up. I was asking which players you thought we could bring in to improve us .

But lennon and januzaj are not improvements, you just have less pace (januzaj) and even more lightweights (both lennon and januzaj) with even less (if possible) end product. i'd keep kev out wide and get a proper left winger. Ayew (big fan of his, plays for marseille, we were linked with him last month actually) or deulofeu (love him). I don't know exactly who is possible or guarantees to do well, i'm just saying that both are better than adnan 'no pace' januzaj and aaron 'headless chicken' lennon. Christan 'im crap' atsu and aiden 'roll' mcgeady are both awful, so we defdo need replacements, but I just think januzaj and lennon are a load of tosh.
10.) What do you think about Nolito? He was linked in the summer and I don't think he'll demand a huge transfer fee, worth a gamble?
{Ed025's Note - he was great against us for celta vigo duaney, but i have not heard much on him since, he would cost around £5m apparently..

Another thing that annoys me is when players have a good game against us and instantly beg to sign them. His record is good, in the spanish league, but so is iago aspas', he is 28, which isn't that bad, but i'd prefer we went for someone better, rather than someone with a decent game against us and a few goals in the spanish and portugese leagues on his record.

I do think he'd be a gamble but I saw him against Barca and he looked a real livewire, I think he scored in that game and I had heard of him before he destroyed us through watching la liga, he could do a decent job for us for a couple of seasons. One left winger who has played well against us on 2 occasions in just this seasons europa is kevin de bruyne. Much better prospect than any player sho has been mentioned, bolasie, januzaj, nolito. Still only 23, has scored 6 goals for wolfsburg this season. I abree a centre back or 2, along with a gk is priority, but if we are talking about a replacement for pienaar on the left, playing garbutt lb and baines lw would do until the e d of the season when we could potentially afford de bruyne or somebody of his quality. What gk and cb would people like to see approached in this transfer window? Finally how about this set up for now:-

Omg craig, someone has FINALLY suggested an actual good footballer, although I see him as an attacking midfielder than out and out winger as his passing is very good, would love him here.

Southampton are closing in on Alderweireld, Fiorentina on Richards if you believe ssn. If Shawcross arrives let's get behind him, it wasn't that long ago people said he was the answer for England and that Manchester United were going to resign him! let's all support any new faces that may come in tomorrow we need a couple of players in to complete our squad. let's hope it's the beginning of a long and successful season!

Today wasn't good if I'm honest, devastated with some pride with how we battled. Surely Roberto is looking at a new defender with letting Duffy leave, maybe even two. Who would you like to see come in Ed?

That was an interesting read but I just can't see so many players wanting to lose when Champions League football was so close. Plus some of the players you claim didn't want to win were on loan and probably would have been interested in moving to Liverpool if the right offer had come about! Not every player who pulls on a blue jersey hates the reds just ask Nick Barmby and Abel Xavier!

Swan to be honest and I know I'm going to getter ripped for this but I agree I think we should sell Barkley whilst someone is willing to pay silly money for him, we can't miss what we don't have and we could get 3 top quality foreign players for the prices that are being mentioned. I hope Ross goes onto being a superstar but we need squad improvement now!
