Any truth in Shawcross move. on welsh side of the Mersey (flint, Buckley, mold) where he is from, it is said that personal terms have been agreed and he's due for medical early hours of Monday morning. in addition any other transfer rumours which could materialise Ed. Personally I'd still like us to sign another experienced centre half as well as Shawcross and possibly a centre midfielder for cover when injuries come around christmas (they always do!)

EtidAaron

{Ed025's Note - shawcross seems to be a possibility aaron, but as you and i know things dont always pan out as you think..

1.) Social-media has a lot to answer for when it comes to rumours starting with one little, mischief-making, baseless comment that then spreads like wildfire and gets picked up by the press who repeat it without even the most rudimentary checking.

{Ed025's Note - they never let the truth get in the way of a good story sid..

2.) Don't you mean the Welsh side of The Dee?

According to various sites, Everton are in advanced negotiations with Spurs over the transfer of Nacer Chadli for a fee estimated around £5-6million

Don't really want him I think we need to strengthen elsewhere

2.) Id much rather holtby

3.) I believe no more winger needed.

4.) Much rather we didn't. Offers absolutely nothing. Watched a lot of Tottenham games this year, and every time his name is said on the commentary late on, I am surprised to find he's actually been playing the entire time

5.) No they are not, most probably at the Hawthornes

6.) We dodged a bullet not signing Holtby been very poor for Spurs, gives the ball away far to much.

7.) Holtby doesn't get playing time an martinez would make him as lot better player barkley wasnt alwasy this class so let's not judge the lad I would take holtby today if we could

Everton have become favourites to sign Fletcher from Sunderland this morning after news came in that Benfica had joined race for Michy, source ssn

EtidAaron

1.) I've always been a fan. He's a good all round striker. He is well grounded and could be prolific in our team. And British!

2.) No, no. say this one isn't true

3.) Good striker but injury prone just what we don't need!

4.) We get linked with a exciting young belgium prospect and up with a complete pile of rubbish. He is about as prolific as jelavic or kone. can't see the point in selling jelavic and getting this cretin in. what's you thoughts on fletcher Ed

{Ed007's Note - I seen him at Hibs when he was younger and he looked the part back then, Celtic were close to signing him when he left for Burnley and I was disappointed at the time. The last couple of weeks he has been linked again with Celtic in a £6m move but I think if we were going to push the boat out with that kind of fee we would get better from abroad, someone like Finnbogason from Heerenveen. I was never Jelavic's biggest fan, I thought he was far too lazy, and I don't think Fletcher is any better ability wise. If I was an Everton fan the prospect of signing Fletcher wouldn't excite me in the slightest.}

5.) Terrible if true. We already have a liability who we will struggle to move on in kone. Totally uninspiring.

6.) Id rather sign berbatov for 2million and that's the last resort

We have become favourites to sign Ince on ssn, this pretty much out of no where as Monaco spurs and others had been in battling for his signature, do they know something about the deal that we don't? Ed what's your opinion?

EtidAaron

{Ed025's Note - i think if the price is right, and bobby wants him..then he is ours aaron, his roots are here, and if his demands are not too greedy it will be a great move for him mate..

1.) 06 Jan 2014 16:02:30
spurs have 4 right wingers doubt they would want him and doesn't he have a newborn daughter? cannot see him going abroad

Mike-Ox Long

2.) With Walcott injured, Ince can grab a spot in Brazil if he joins the right club, he would do well with us and Barklay, as he seems to have said he wold "tear it up with Ross" could happen .
Addo

3.) I reckon this rumour might have some legs. Ince has expressed an interest, would definitely get a lot of starts and Martinez's style suits his play. Plus he's got to see that El Bob is great at encouraging and improving young players. I do think we might just be a stepping stone to another club for him though. He's meant to be well cocky. And we'd have to put up with his dad mouthing off every now and then.

Reports on TV say we are preparing for life without Felli and Baines. with bids for McCarthy, Indi(French centre-back) and Bertrand. What do you think guys?

EtidAaron

1.) We could do a lot better

2.) Not good enough. We will struggle.

3.) I think u should stop reading the mirror

4.) Without wishing to come across as pedantic, Martins Indi is Portuguese and plays for the Netherlands.

5.) All seem like second rate compared to what we are loosing. BK why didn't you cough up the money in pre season?

I can't understand all the criticism Eddie Howe is getting. He's done a fantastic job with Bournemouth and why shouldn't he be considered along with Monk?!
Not my first choices but still no reason why they wouldn't be good appointments. Both our last managers have been relatively young and inexperienced in terms of challenging at top of league and for trophies. Maybe that's been our problem.
First choice is Pellegrini then Hiddink followed by lad from Dortmund, done a great job this season.
Who is yours Ed and other Blues?

EtidAaron

{Ed025's Note - pellegrini or bielsa for me aaron..

Stoke have withdrawn their offer for Shaqiri, should we be entering a bid for him. Really good winger and can play both sides and behind the striker. What do you think Ed?

EtidAaron

{Ed001's Note - Shaqiri has attitude issues, I would think Everton would be best steering well clear personally. He is one of those players who is a waste of talent.}

Right tbh, I'm not Cleverlys biggest fan but I will give him a chance as long as he puts his heart and would on the line every time he puts on the royal blue jersey!
However, I've not been particularly impressed with him this season, and to find out he's just been called up by england for the Ireland and Scotland games tells me they are worse off than us!

Oh my giddie aunt!
Schalke have just released Kevin prince-Boateng and Sidney Sam.
We should really consider approaching them both as they great players.
Sidney Sam possesses the same charismatic energy and ability as both Lennon and Mirallas.
Where as KPB is an outstanding midfielder and can play as the strong defensive midfielder with either McCarthy or Besic, or as a CAM, behind the striker, and he is an already made superstar. What do you Ed's and fellow blues?
Would you be happy with them?

EtidAaron

{Ed025's Note - no arron..i have answered why in a previous post mate..

1.) 12 May 2015 03:30:11
No need for anyone to get their knickers in a twist, Schalke Have clarified and said that the duo are in fact suspended indefinitely. Probably for the better, we can do better, no need for any more eto'os.

2.) 12 May 2015 09:12:53
no ta la

16 Apr 2015 23:34:23
Vestergaard and Sergi Robero. two quality YOUNG players, not like Martínez to be interested.
Ed's or fellow blues any other players with strong links or possibilities of coming in?

EtidAaron

1.) 17 Apr 2015 17:12:13
Personally can't see the Sergi Roberto deal happening. Barca have 6 registered Midfield players: Xavi, Iniesta, Rakatic, Busquets, Rafinha and Sergi.

With Xavi leaving to Qatar club Al Saad (Am excited lol), I can't see them letting any players go whilst under a transfer ban. Just my view tho.

2.) 17 Apr 2015 23:40:37
They've got plenty of players out on loan (song) as well as players in Barcelona B who are capable of giving the first team players a rest from time to time and mascherano can play holding mid. Barcelona are in a surprisingly flexible position to sell simply because they do have many players in all positions.

Tbh United have got one of the best records away from home all season, would rather it of been at old Trafford again. I reckon we could do better than the 1-0 from last time

To dentielad there is only two more I can think of. duffy who showed a lot of promise especially in a heroic performance vs spurs but then sent out on loan and same with Barkley as he actually had a quite big run of games a few seasons ago but then showed promise so Moyes sent him to reserves to "further his progress"
