If there's any good comes out of today then it is surely the board must have watched that and thought enough is enough.
That's if their minds were not made up already.

This is Everton mate.

2.) 08 May 2016 18:06:55
Fdb might not have any premier league experience but stam and Bergkamp do. That post has changed my mind on Fdb if all 3 come.

No rumours coming out of Finch Farm today, how strange.

1.) 01 May 2016 14:26:27

Just heard from a reliable source, Roberto has gone.
He's got a new job starting Monday, with that company who are trying to knock down that block of flats in Seaforth.

Franktheblue

{Ed025's Note - that was a secret frank...now you have blown him up.. :)

1.) 29 Apr 2016 21:38:06
I heard he failed interview, his plans to plant dynamite from the back up to the middle then back to the back were flawed.
Wet fuses and the proposed phenominal thunder clap bang would have ended up like a 20p sparkler.

BK seen with Diego Simeone in Yates's having a pint.

Franktheblue

{Ed025's Note - it was only shandy frank as he was driving.. :)

1.) 28 Apr 2016 17:08:35
Yea Diego would be in Liverpool the day after going 1-0 up in first leg of the semi-final of the champions league. It would be my dream for him to come to Everton.

Realistically not going to happen in the foreseeable future anyway.

I've had a tenner on Everton for next seasons Prem, 150/ 1 at ladbrokes.
This time next year it will be cha ching.

Franktheblue

{Ed025's Note - i would love you to be right frank..

1.) 19 May 2016 22:17:31
Worth a tenner. There'll be a lot more bets on them long shots for next season after Leicester winning it. And why not?!

2.) 19 May 2016 22:22:16
My wife would too Ed :) I can just see the £ signs in her eyes.

{Ed025's Note - they teach them at school frank how to swindle their husbands..im convinced mate.. :)

3.) 19 May 2016 22:36:37
No Ed, its naturally ingrained in their DNA 😊.

{Ed025's Note - very probably mate.. :)

Is it just me or is anyone else's life totally consumed by this whole Manager saga.

The last few weeks have been filled with doom and gloom, and the last few days filled with excitement and day dreams.
People are talking to me and I don't take any notice whatsoever, unless it's about Everton, I'm just in a constant day dream.

It's begining to drive me insane.

In his press conference Koeman say's he's staying at Southampton. I knew I shouldn't have listened to rumours, from NSNO website or anywhere else. Lesson learned there.

That's one of my hopefuls out the window.
Has Mr Moshiri got a pleasant surprise for us all, I wonder.

Franktheblue

1.) 13 May 2016 16:09:57
hang fire frank this one still has legs trust me.

2.) 13 May 2016 16:22:19
Until there's an official approach it's almost impossible to see either way.

3.) 13 May 2016 16:25:00
It could all hinge on the 'sitting down to have talks with the club (Saints) about the future'

Which RK mentioned too, here he would have a well publicised 'war chest' there who knows .

4.) 13 May 2016 16:59:11
koeman is still a goer his press conference was not very convincing. compare it to sparkys conference and he convinced me more that he wanted to stay there than koemons did.

5.) 13 May 2016 18:39:14
Koeman will stay at saints, he will sign s new deal . All his players are signing new deals . They wouldn't do it he wasn't going to be there.

6.) 13 May 2016 20:33:54
players sighning new deals has got nothing to do with it "why would it" all they are doing is making sure they are financialy secure and they like were they are and they are settled sighning new deals means if it all goes tits up they will be paid out.

How sad have we become as a football club.
All these comments clearly filled with desperation and it would appear that not one of the top brass give a chit about us.

A manger walks in 3 years ago and promises us Champions league football, I knew then he was the wrong choice.
I want a manger to promise us the champions league trophy, or at least keep his mouth shut but have the know how to reach for the stars.
I don't want a manger to promise us top 4 or 3 or 2, I want the premier league trophy.

I've quoted it before on here and I'll quote it again, 'when Everton touches you, nothing else is ever quite the same', Alan Ball, world cup winner, yes winner.

Nil satis Nisi Optimum, what a joke, I think we should lose that slogan until we deserve to use it.
Once we have won something then reinstate it, it does nothing but brainwash us all.

As much as I love and admire BK we have simply stagnated under him, yes he could have jumped ship, sold us to someone who didn't care, so for that I'm grateful, but it's time for him to move over and let someone, a winner, take over.

We are Everton, I don't want players who are willing to run through brick walls for us, I want players who are willing to die for us.

I want a manager who will tell the overgrown infants, like Lakaku, that if they don't want to be here, then get your boots, go home and never come near Goodison or Finch Farm ever again, you're history, finished, not good enough to play for our Everton.

When one player can stroll around and show us so much disrespect, and still play the following weeks, then we have truly become losers.
He is simply not good enough for us, not the other way around.

1.) 09 May 2016 13:49:04
Well said Frank. awesome post. and the same for all the players. If you are a mercenary. If you are using Everton as a stepping stone. Get out now.

{Ed002's Note - Players come and go from all clubs - you seem tyo have an incredibly naive view of the business.}

2.) 09 May 2016 14:03:42
Not meaning to have a go Frank but there's nothing realistic in your post mate.

To tell a player to do one when he's worth a transfer value of £50+ million is just naive.

To not use NSNO our club moto embodied by such greats as Ball Dean Kendall Harvey Southall Reid Watson Cahill and many others who gave their all would not be right. NSNO whilst not too apparent now is still very much an expectation because of past players like these who were the very epitome of what our grand history echoes through time.

You won't get a martyrdom commitment from any player these days so running through brick walls is about as committed as it'll get nowadays.

We all want the very best and are all really feeling it right now. But the game has changed and will not deliver the sentiment of years past. The money has seen to that sadly.

3.) 09 May 2016 14:27:48
I don't see how Everton have stagnated under Bill Kenwright? Cast your mind back to when he took the rains, can you honestly say that we are the same club? Yes the last 2 seasons have seen a set back, but that is all it is. Have faith.

4.) 09 May 2016 14:56:17
I agree on Bill Pedromez but wether it is his illness or misguided loyalty he does seem to have made an error (my opinion) with Martinez. I know Ed002 will probably come back with some cutting comment but never the less I also think a lot of the animosity both on and off the terraces could and would be avoided if only the Club had made some sort of statement, to support RM, or agreed at leaving at end of season etc! I have supported the Club for more years than I can remember and I must say even cutting out the hysteria, this is probably one of the most upsetting periods I can remember. I also do not agree with any planned protest against Norwich, especially as the players and Staff by tradition usually bring their families along with them.

{Ed002's Note - Yes I am sure a proportion of the so called supporters will make it as difficult as possible for the club, owners, manager, players and all of their families.}

5.) 09 May 2016 16:47:52
NSNO is an aspiration that is subjective. Some may say they are attaining that aspiration others may disagree. I have consistently thought that the only way to judge RM on his performance is at the end of the season, maybe the board think the same way.

6.) 09 May 2016 20:34:48
Toffee ace and SHML. I agree with you two chaps. I posted at weekend that I won't be going on Sunday as A) I've just had enough this season b) I don't want to be a hypocrite, c) equally I don't want to be part of a toxic atmosphere. The directors, the players and the manager i'm sure are more than aware by now that the fans are extremely unhappy. that's been clear for many weeks, the booing, the irrate plonker running on the pitch and the banners flying over the ground last home game, the signs, the protests. I'm pretty sure there is also a drop in season ticket renewals. it's clear. BUT rather than show the club up, and show ourselves up as septic, aggressive, unforgiving fans. which will do wonders for recruitment and the nerves of our younger players. I think the best thing to do if you can't control your emotions is simply let Saturday pass you by. go Christmas shopping. something far less stressful. and for those who want to stay and applaud the team, then carry on.

7.) 09 May 2016 18:53:33
Toffee Ace, I'm not having a go at you either but if Lakaku wants out, get rid.
Fergie did it with Beckham, Jap Stam and Van Nistlerooy to name but a few.

As for NSNO, I suggest you read what I said again. The players you mention deserved to use it.

If you want to sound clever at least read what I said first about reinstating that motto.

8.) 09 May 2016 22:43:31
Frank in today's world teams very rarely get Them want to stay and give it all players anymore, let alone die for the club, if only we could get 11 of them.

Sunday il be going the game, paid for it il use it, plus small tradition I get smashed usually at every last home game of the season.

9.) 09 May 2016 22:52:37
Frank. I don't want to argue mate. I did read your post a few times before making my points and I stand by them. But I want to agree with you on how you feel about Lukaku, he angers me too and you make a fair point about what SAF did.

I also get the NSNO point but it means too much to be messed about with. I say use it as a yard stick to measure success, and if something or someone falls short then you have a means to judge him by.

I'm not posting to sound clever, I'm just doing what you are. Using this forum to have an opinion. I mean you no harm, I just have a different view. No offence.

10.) 10 May 2016 10:07:47
Toffee Ace
No problem my friend, I think we're all very frustrated right now. I know what you mean about NSNO.
My to 'die for the club comment' was OTT, I was writing as I was thinking. No offence to you either, we're both blues and just want the best.
Take it easy.

Allright gang, Roberto here. Just thought I'd pop on and say what an incredible website this is.
I love all your posts, I think they are incredible, I can feel the passion, the intensity, and an incredible desire.

I was out with Mr Moshiri the other night, we were in the Royal Oak on County Road there. I think he likes me, he asked me where I got my brown shoes from, and he said I'm an incredible dancer.
He didn't say much else but I think that's because he couldn't get a word in.
I promised him championship football next year.
I left him in there with some incredible bird and got myself home.
Not sure what he meant but as I was leaving he said something like P45, I'm Spanish so I haven't a jar of glue what he means, I'll have to Google it.

Anyway, I'll have to go now, I'm going out to try and find a good defensive coach, I hear the Sandon on the dock road are a good team, so I might poach theirs.
If not I'll go and watch the under 11's in Stanley park and see if I can pick up some tips.

Your faithfully

Roberto M esquire.

Yes, just read this, as far as I can tell the Telegraph don't usually write rubbish, I mean as oppose to the Mirror and all those comics newspapers.

I'm trying not to get too excited but I can't sit still either, doing my head in all this.

Franktheblue

{Ed002's Note - Finally people are beginning to understand things better. Firstly - remove Emery from the equation as there are no dependencies. Secondly, yes, as I have already explained on the European pages there are clubs interested in Monchi, and yes, two of those clubs are from England and yes, one is indeed Everton. People need to step back and stop thinking of Mourinho and stop demanding immediate knee jerk recruitments. I know the supporters don't want to, but the club needs to have the time to do the right thing.}

I know we don't know what's going on behind the scenes but it appears from the outside that Koeman is not to keen on us.
If we do get him I hope we find that behind the scenes he was desperate to come here and join our adventure, it would be a good start at least.
Maybe he's keeping quiet out of respect for Southampton, which would be admirable.
The whole Manager rumble is doing my head in.

Franktheblue

{Ed025's Note - koeman is being very shrewd frank, he will not want to burn his bridges at St marys in case things go tits up mate..

I think whoever the new Manager is should make a statement of intent and get rid.
Send a message to any other cowboys that if you are here, or if you come here, you do as you are told, effort is not negotiable.

Franktheblue

{Ed025's Note - we have always been famous for that frank and we need that back mate..i agree..

I think Stones is overrated because his positional play is shocking.
There's certain things you can teach but this is not one of them. You've either got it from an early age or you haven't.
I predict he will go for a huge price. Then he will have a few stinkers and be dropped, to be sold again for a pittance, similar to Jack Rodwell.

Franktheblue

{Ed025's Note - i think the guy is talented frank but maybe not as much as some are saying, i would be sad if he left but if the price was right it would certainly cushion the blow mate..

I'm not sure if I'm barking up the wrong tree but Johny Heitinga is a friend of FDB, maybe he has told him what a great club Everton is.
There's probably a few reasons but this could be one.
Lets face it, most who walk into Goodison fall in love, there's just something about Everton that you can't help but feel.

Yes BlueJohn, I agree.
He appears to see Everton as an honour to work for, that is something to be admired.
I'd prefer Emery but as Blue said, you post makes sense.

Yep, my typing has improved in the last few weeks though.

What will we all do when a new Manager is appointed, I've seen more of Google than my wife these last few weeks.
