Gibson doesn't play for Ireland because he fell out with trapatoni after being brought to Poland for the European championships and not given a minute on the pitch. not because he was left out of the team for a game in a mickey mouse pre season competition. ps the original post is stupid and makes no sense.

I really don't want to bring a downer on things after Big Rom signing, but we're still the same size squad as last season.
2 loans have become permanent 1 new buy and Del boy's gone back
I know we have the youth coming through and a few due back from injury ie: Gibbo, Oviedo and Kone but I feel we still need at least 3-4 more buys or loans for the squad.
If we're unfortunate enough to get similar injuries we're back to square one, with extra games, due to the Europa
1.) Exactly what I said but I reckon he will loan in at least 3 players before the end of the window, its just finding the right ones

Mirrallas out until the end of the season.
Gutted, put in a great shift on Sunday and could do with his pace against city.
Guess we'll have to do with the step over, although McGeadys been looking good.

I loved how Romalu ran to Bobby when he scored.
I wonder what that was all about?
1.) I thought the same. Maybe there's something in that with regard to his future with us next season. Why would Romelu want to be anywhere else? Let's push the boat out to sign him.
2.) I think it was in appreciation of Martinez's tactics. Arsenal were probably prepared for Rom in his normal position, as well as ready to face Del boy after the scares he gave them at the emirates. Bobby got his tactics spot on, even though Osman's injury could have derailed the whole thing. But just look how happy Rom is at the club. I know he's expensive, but sign him up and let him finally settle at a club where he can be a true hero and watch him give his all for the team on a regular basis. We've got to try and keep the big beast! (I know It probably won't happen though!)
3.) No its because he was told to play right wing and cut inside and let fly.and how it worked!
It was me that called him stepovers.
I like the lad and think he has a great future, it just irritates me sometimes, when he uses his pace down the wing, gets one on one with the full back, then decides to do 12 stepovers, doesn't get past the man and ends up passing backwards.
I wish he would cross the ball first time, before the opposition defenders get chance to get back into position.
I know he doesn't do it everytime, but when he does I wanna scream
