Hi

don't we still need a commanding goalie? Is MCCarthy going to Southampton a signal that Forster could come for a big big fee?

Wishful thinking or reality?

Going to be a long week for us all although I have far more faith than last year in our management team

I think McCarthy going Southampton is just as cover, McCarthy has become 3/ 4th choice keeper since the arrival of mandanda.

If as expected we lose at Sunderland then Bobby will cry in post match interview if last night is anything to go by, he looks a broken man . It hasn't work so let's say goodbye before Sunday otherwise I suggest no lap of honour except to say thanks and farewell to Osman, Howard, Pienaar, Hibbert and Gibson and possibly a few more? but RM must be gone before Sunday for everybody to keep dignity and respect.

I shouldn't worry about it. I know this is a rumour site but people are getting ahead of themselves, I include myself in that but am at last beginning to see the light. There has been no message or hint out of the Club that Martinez is leaving and Martinez himself is talking and planning as if he is staying. Does that sound like a man who has been told he is going or a man that has been given some kind of re-assurance.

I don't think it is either humpin. I would suggest that it is the Everton way not to say anything until the fat lady sings and the taxi arrives, in which case Martinez's strategy would be to carry on as normal, which is what he is doing. Of course it could take at least another year before the taxi gets through the traffic, by which time you will probably be humpin your own leg in desperation.

All prem clubs are big businesses now, no major business let's it's MD (the manager in footballs case) do a major open staged interview like the Carragher one, release it to the press (it would have been reviewed before being printed and the video being posted) unless it was an accurate message from the business (club)
I wrote on here as soon as it was released that it was the club statement and it was. He will be on the touch line in August.

Am I mad, sad, frustrated, angry? all of these . The penalty should have been scored but what was Martinez doing with subs, West Ham United changed formation as soon as Lennon went off and it gave them inspiration . JS seemed very nervous and our left side was trageted in last 10 mins . Martinez must go before lasting harm is inflicted if it hasn't already been as Lukaku packs his suitcase!

I came home very depressed and worried after game on Saturday . Brilliant as we are at times we are defensively terrible, RM got relegated due to his lack of organising the defence at Wigan. In the first half how did the Leicester corner not go in? where was Howard? . We are 8 points from relegation and now 15 points behind Leicester> If we lose at NUFC and then the next 2 home games then nice relaxing games against City! Very worried, please can Jags get fit and can someone show our team how to take corners as well as defending them . Very worried!

O yea even Coleman admitted that in an interview. He said we're conceding too much and need to work on it. If he's even saying that it must be a problem.
