Lots of teams with lesser known defenders than ours are showing clean sheets can be kept and even the mess that Utd were, are showing what can be done with the right guy in charge and the right direction/ coaching focus. Silva needs to either change his thinking and priorities or he will be just another Martinez.

Pains me to say, but typical week for my beloved toffees. I'm not saying it's time for Marco to do one but he's getting very close to being yet another wrong appointment for the club unless he rethinks some of his beliefs. Zonal doesn't work and he needs to figure out his spine of the team. For me, the defence isn't reliable and each have an error in them.

We have no leader or influencer, lack bite and no focal point. On paper, we are maybe 3 players away from pushing top 4 but the rest need arses kicking and given direction. Look at United.

That's the problem I don't think he knows his best team he took out Jags, Baines and Davies (Jags injured) and put his own players in and it's not worked.

He will not give young up and coming players a chance, Baines was injured yet still played him instead of Kenny. Holgate out on loan etc.

I know we have an abundance of attacking midfielders but I really rate tielemans and there talk of him going to Leicester etc. With us seemingly getting rid of Gueye and Mac plus only having Gomes on loan, I reckon he's worth hijacking.

Silva has to win tonight against Huddersfield or I fear where it is going to end up. On paper, we have players and I'm sick of hearing that the performances are down to a lack of confidence. Silva is responsible for preparing them and then it is on their shoulders to turn in performances. I hope we start the rejuvenation tonight but anything that has happened lately, has me concerned and this is Huddersfield we are talking about.

Not hard to believe at all. 3 seasons, 4 different managers each wanting something different. Most difficult crowd to please in the country probably. Build players up one week then slaughter them the next. Make young kids the next Everton great then dismiss them with ‘their rubbish’ the week after.
Yes fans are entitled to moan at the game.
Yes you are entitled to destroy them all over social media
But don’t then be surprised if they stop wanting to try things or take an extra touch ‘to make sure’.
In the same way the crowd can be a 12th man they can also reduce a team to 9 or 10.
And that is one thing we are good at.

Surely we won't let Gana and Mac leave at the same time. Let Gana go if Psg can up to 30 and sew how Jm does after injury. With our season practically over, surely it's the best time to game time to those on the fringes when there is very little pressure. Save our money for the summer when you get more value and whoever is in charge has identified his must-have players.

Dont know who I'd pick but we need somebody I think. I was peed off with Moyes and how he conducted himself, but what if he came back as and advisor or no.2 to someone like Arteta. He would sort the defence out. We need to go back to having players like Joe Royal had, the famous Dogs of War.

Out - niasse, tosun and schneiderlin. Jimmy Mac back, Lookman needs more time and DCL needs a run before he ends up the next Anichebe. I'd leave bringing people in until the summer as this panic window just inflates value. Perhaps focus on converting the loans to permanent for Gomes and Zouma where poss.

With Oumar gone, if Tosun goes, we'll be relying on DCL and Richarlison up front unless we get someone in which is risky as neither look like the answer just yet. So while I agree with giving DCL a proper run we will need someone in. And I can't see us getting rid of those 2 just to get someone of a similar standard; so whoever comes in can expect to be first choice in which case giving DCL a proper run might be tricky but could work out if a better striker can help him come on.
