Ok, Ed. What is your opinion on these? (Simple yes or no):

Will Fellaini leave?

Will Baines leave?

If they, or just one, leaves, will we see it happen on deadline day?

Denial of whether they leave or not, will we still make a 'marquee' signing?

I'll be so happy when this is all over. Will you? {Ed025's Note - 50/50..no..probably..yes..yes..

Keith EFC

1.) Ed you would have lost in the yes/no game there! Mr Blue Sky {Ed025's Note - yes mate, err..no i mean.. :)

Ed, if we sold Felli, do you reckon RM could use the "we haven't got much money" trick to prise Messi away from Barca, or if that fails, Ronaldo from Madrid? {Ed025's Note - in a word keith...no..

Keith EFC

1.) I know Ed. :D

I was having a laugh (I'm not sure if you knew that) because I read so many silly questions on here I thought I'd join in. {Ed025's Note - i did know keith, i was yanking your chain mate.. :)

Whoever posted about the club changing the badge for the 2014/15 season is spot on.

Well done!

The club is finally listening.

Keith EFC

1.) All we need now is a 2nd miracle in a week and that is Martinez totally shanking his interview and doing one to Stoke. Then we may have a chance!

2.) If you have read the post from the club regarding PR disaster that has ensued over the week about the raped of the club badge, it is plain the club are treating the fans with total contempt with promises of restoring the crest next season.

It is obvious that this has been demanded by the club sponsors so they can cut costs in production of the merchandise and charge the fan base more. And the club have gone along with this!

3.) No they just hope that everyone will have accepted it by then and just say it would be best to keep the new badge.

Has anyone seen the interview with Stubbsy? There's an article on GOT. It's perfect for us fans to see the club's ambition. He said that Moyesy will wait to see the board's ambition before signing.

"It will be about his budget. He'll want assurances about what players get sold and the amount of money that he'll get to spend from those transfers. "

"He wants to see the direction that the club is taking before he commits his future to it. It's a crossroads for the board as well, not just the manager. "

I suppose it tells us that if Moyesy signs, then the club is going places - in terms of ambition. However if he doesn't sign, start worrying. For once Moyesy is stepping up to the board.

What does everyone else think?

Keith EFC

1.) I believe Stubbs he knows Moyes very well.

2.) Fully behind moyes stance, it is about ambition,. the board will show how ambitious they are, can't see moyes holding out for a massive budget, just a chance to progress and compete,.

3.) For me the board has always been the issue. Regardless of my personal opinion of Moyes (positive) I always thought he deserved a crack of the whip at Goodison with plenty of cash. I think he has called the shots a few times with the board over selling players, as I personally think the board would sell every player of value given thee chance. It is so obvious they put none of their money into the club. Final thought, Martinez, four years at Wigan and they have never finished more than sixth from bottom. He is also at a club with limited funds. If he does go there is a distinct lack of managers talented enough for the job.

4.) If that's the real reason about his contract then I back him, he wants to do well with us but if the board don't you can't blame him

Jc

5.) Makes perfect sense and really squeezes the balls of the board, as if Moyes leaves the fans will be aware of the reason, and the board will find themselves under intense pressure.
A watershed moment, and its long overdue as Moyes knows unless he gets assurances from the board then there is no way forward

6.) As has been mentioned on here already, I believe, the Fellaini money will be key. Surely the board has to give him the whole amount to do anything with the squad. I believe he must have targets in mind to come in should the inevitable happen. The Sly money should go a long way in reducing overall debt, keeping the banks and other entitiies quiet, making whatever we raise from Fellaini sale available to Moyes. If he gets that then he stays, most likely.

Just a quick note to those who watch the games online - whether it be all the time or just a few times a season:

On the post about firstrow being blocked on Virgin, someone (I can't remember who) said something about ads, as well as the chance of malware. The answer is an AdBlocker. All browsers (well most of them - Firefox, Chrome, IE, Safari, etc) can get them. On Firefox, go to the top left and click the 'Firefox' button, then click 'Add Ons', and finally click 'Get Add Ons' before search anything along the lines of 'ad blocker'. My personal preference is AdBlock Plus. And in case you're wondering, it's free.

Likewise for Chrome. Go to the Chrome store (Google it if you can't see a link in the browser's tool bar) and do pretty much the same as Firefox (by searching for AdBlock).

As for other browsers (Safari, IE, etc) just Google along the lines of 'AdBlock for (insert your browser here).

Once installed, restart your browser and go to any live stream and see how all the ads are gone. Happy days.

1.) Thanks for not posting a piece on David Moyes.

I've just submitted my vote on the new badge. I chose the 1st one - it has all the necessary elements. The 2nd one got ruled out first by me - missing the wreaths. And the 3rd one was tough to say no to as it has everything like the 1st one, but I prefer the old one (2000-2013), so the 1st one is the closest to that.

It'd be nice to have a complete change in the shape, what with us being in a new era, but I'm a person who loves the old badge so it'd be hard to say bye to it.

Just wondering, what did everyone else vote?

Keith EFC

1.) Same as you Keith

Toffee ace {Ed025s Note - first one for me as well..

2.) Yea I voted for the first one as well, I pretty much chose it on the same principles as you Keith.

BitterBlue

3.) The 1st one for me kieth mate its looking promising aswell. LIAM!

4.) I've just voted for A as well, it has everything required.

5.) A for me, too. Looks the most traditional to me and that's what I wanted.

6.) Yep first one for me too quite like no 3 aswell

7.) It's definitely between 1 and 3, I quite like 3 though, has a modern edge, and think it says we're a whole new proposition now, new badge, new brand of football.

8.) The new one - that's getting binned - is the best of all four - they should have kept as an option - a lot of people like it now (I didn't like it at first but now I do)

9.) Crest A for me, the best of a bad bunch, the least crap, so wins by default.
Granville.

10.) Can we stop going on about badges. I thought this was a site for adults. tom efc

11.) What are you doing on here then tom? I think you'll find the vast majority have an interest in the badge, because you don't makes it less important or irrelevant? If you're not concerned about it, fine but to actively attempt to suppress and stifle debate by implying it's childish and/or infantile is ridiculous.

12.) 24 Sep 2013 11:00:59
just friendly banter Tom

13.) Its all about B init bruvs. Gold symbolises número UNO. Nil satis nisi optimum, that's what we stand for. If you wanna be the best you got to get the gold. I like gold because it doesn't rust and is an excellent conductor or electricity. I live up in the mountains you see. It rains a lot up here so I have gold wiring to connect the outside generater to my log cabin. So yeah gold got to be on the badge boys, ya get me. {Ed025's Note - why do i keep thinking about chewing tobacco and the sound of duelling banjos when i read this?.. :)

Hi Everyone, I'm back. For some reason my posts wouldn't appear at all towards the last 2 weeks of the transfer window. I don't know why.

Anyway, I'm so glad to have my posts appear again.

Whilst I'm here, I have a question. Is McCarthy worth £12-13m?

Keith EFC

1.) Only time will tell is the best answer.

2.) Not at the moment but it's hardly his fault that Wigan decided that's how much he's worth.

Baz, what did you write on the Manc page? I saw Degsy say it was pretty special as they couldn't find a way to reply, but when I went over there, I searched your name and nothing came up. :/

Keith EFC

1.) I've not signed in mate, 09:35am to post is timed at

Baz

2.) Ive been on to read the posts.them mancs get very tetchy when you slag there team off don't they lol.and as for the baines and fellaini ain't good enough for utd then why don't they tell the board so any more bids stop.oh by the way baz.great post and nice tosee you ruffle a few manc feathers.

I think we'll know more on Saturday. The major thing will be whether they (LB, MF) start against WBA (that is assuming they haven't been sold by then).

This is just too much to deal with, what with it being results day on Thursday. Just bring on the 3rd Sept.

Because they're still in Austria PB2. When they unveil they'll want Bobby there with him, so when they get back it'll surely be announced then.

OP is correct. Everton Aren't We on Twitter said this well before The Mail, and the writer of the article has been clarified as being very well in on the info regarding Everton by an Echo reporter.

Obviously, people can doubt all they want until it's official, but I'm nigh on certain hell sign now. Not sure about the 48hour thing though, 'cause knowing Everton 48hours is often 48days.

Anyway, be happy guys!

Rodwell rumour I possibly believe as apparently we tried to get him on loan (even though we had our full quota of loan players domestically) in the latter hours of deadline day (Jan.). Moses won't be true, he's a winger not a froward. So if Lukaku doesn't stay, we'll also get at least one new forward as well as Moses (assuming Moses rumour is true). Gerard I think is 50/50 atm. And Seamus is going nowhere. Mark. My. Words.

Bit harsh that Mushy. Although what you're saying make sense for health/security reasons banning them would be very harsh considering it's not the football teams that did it, is it?

If enough teams in the competition say they don't feel safe travelling there, etc, them UEFA will probably make them play there games somewhere else, like a neighbouring country. Banning them would be ludicrous as far as most people are concerned.

If a plane was shot down over Southampton for example (or anywhere near the south coast), what would your reaction be if UEFA banned us from the Europa League because of safety reasons for visiting teams when the actual incident would have occurred at the other end of the country?

Think about it!

£6m for a 32 year old who was starting to lose his quality when we sold him 3 years back? No way Pedro.

End of!

What makes you think that about Bony? He could easily be a one season wonder, until he proves it next season he's no better than Lukaku for me. At least Lukaku has proved he can do it more than one season.

We all know CL is gone, just waiting for Ars to bag three points against Newc and we can all look at the table and stop arguing that it is still on.

A very disappointing end to the season but hey, it's a 'transitional season' in which we've probably finished 5th, I'm happy with that like a Pig is happy with mud.

RM will sort it all out I'm the summer. Have faith and let's focus on our final home game of the season and hopefully 3 points to cement 5th.

COYB.
