Don't get me wrong I love Baines but if Silva and brands have decided it's time for him to move on sadly so be it.
Purely guesswork but if it's true then I'd guess a replacement has been identified
Personally I'd rather see Baines leave before his level if performances drop I'd much rather remember the great performances that Baines has given rather than seeing him drop in level and get remembered for mistakes or poor performances as has happened to other players that we have kept on for too long and if it's the mls he's going to go to that would be best for all as I would hate to see him playing for another English club.

Unfortunately time catches up with everyone and Bainesy is no exception. He has been one of my favourites since he donned the shirt and he's one Everton player who deserves the status Legend. I hope he stays and shows everyone there is life in the old dog yet, but if the club, or he thinks it's time to move on so be it. It'll be a sad day but we'll get over it.

Papers are saying Marvin Plattenhardt is ready to sign for Everton a like for like Baines swap. But he'll sign after the world cup. A very good signing if it happens. I wouldn't get too excited just yet though as teams will see his performance and potentially pip us for his signature. If it was a done deal us capturing his signatures then we'd fly out there and get it sorted. Fingers crossed though.

{Ed002's Note - The problem is always going to be taking on a coach or Technical Director from another side and then trying to cherry pick their players, so I would not hold out hope of Lozano joining Everton this summer. One player who is not dissimilar to Lozano who is of interest to Everton (and a couple of other sides) is Porto's Yacine Brahimi.}

Kroenke doesn't need them as he already has a majority shareholding. I'd assume there was a major problem if it took 3 weeks to appoint a coach who is out of work and available. Perhaps with today being quiet, the new boss isn't as clear as we think?

OllBlue. That's exactly why it could take a couple of weeks. Watford have complained to the F.A. About tapping. What makes matters worse. Kenwright "supposedly" told Watford that we wouldn't persue Silva in the summer. It's been a week since the prem season ended and we already made contact. Upset Watford even more. They going all out to reap massive compensation. With the sacking of Allerdyce and his staff, keeping Watford sweet. It's going to cost in excess of 30 million to get Silva on the books. So be better be good lol.

It is too much money but practically every fee those last 2 years has been the same. He may have faded in the second half of the season but still had more shots, dribbles and passes in the final third than anyone we had.

Leroy Sane wasn’t in Germany World Cup squad but still one of the best players I saw in prem last year, Richarlison is a good player and at 21 has lots of potential don’t forget when he signed for Watford last summer he was still in middle of Brazilian season so may explain some dip in form after first 20 games he had no rest and the man who got him playing was then sacked, I trust Marco’s judgment, also glad Niasse is staying offers so much from bench and has great attitude I think he can chip in with a dozen goals.
