Morning,
Seeing everywhere the C Austin will be signed this week. Not sure but, I can at least hope.
I have also heard that Stones to United for 25 plus Evans.
I could do with that if Evans was just the backup and the rest was to sign Lennon and a proper replacement for Stones. With the above we would actually be stronger in my humble opinion. And maybe just maybe a proper number 10, if we actually have money.

Just my views on the so called Everton Exodus.
1- Stones: If he goes he will go for at least 34Mill that in my view is not bad. We should be able to get a more then suitable replacement and then some.
2-McCarthy: If he goes will be for over 20Mill. Again not a bad price either. We have Clev, Barry, Barkley, Osman, Besic, Gibson. We are more than covered. And honestly for me Besic is as good if not better. Just my opinion.
3-Mirallas: Here is where I see the biggest issue. Maybe just over 10 15Mill max. He does have an attitude problem. But I don't think we have replacements that are good enough. Maybe Del boy, Piennar old, and Aiden. We will have to really spend to get someone proper.
4-Lukaku: Not really worried about him going this season. We won't sell for less than 35Mill and currently no one will pay that for potential. I think next season if he shows what he can do we might have a problem.
So in my humble view we are OK no one is bigger then the club or irreplaceable. Specially not for the amounts of money that we could make. Rooney left we had our best campaign in the PL. Just saying.

If we get rid of both Rom and Kev then we will be in trouble unless we spend 50m to replace them. These two are the only players to score on a regular basis, take away their goals and we would be worse off points wise. Kev has an attitude but he scores important goals. Get rid of Rom and we are left with just Kone, nobody wants that!

Have been reading some of the stuff posted in here. And I find it a bit disappointing. Did anyone from the club say we were even after Ogbonna. And if we were is he really worth the 12M bandied around for a third choice CB with no EP experience? We have already done two signings possibly 3 (henen) before the window is even officially open. One on a "free" maybe not everyone's cup of tea, one possibly the deal of the window. But we still moan. Let's moan after the window closes.

Totally agree. Any Centre Back will be 3rd choice, so the best we can probably hope for is a player with potential and we already have two of those in Galloway and Browning.
I also feel that any signings regardless of whether we wanted them or not should be given a fair crack of the whip and not just a few games. The season should start with a clean slate for the players, manager and supporters. We are all in this together.

This Rom situation!! I know that opinion is split again. My view is and I have mentioned it before. He thinks himself better than what he actually is. We have paid over the odds for him. But on the other side of the coin I do think he will be one of the best strikers in Europe. And currently with our state I think he is the best we can attract. If we remember we sold Rooney and bought Bent. Do we want to sell Rom and get the other Bent or even worst CCole? Don't think so. Hope not.

I like Rom I don't think we should sell unless he forces but Martinez wants to play pass pass pass pass and he can't control the ball, poeple keep saying play to his strengths which is getting him in behind but for 28m he should be able to trap a ball and lay it off even 2 yards which he messes up everytime like everytime

Never posted before but have been visiting the site for a couple of years now.
This post is now really out of pure frustration. But for me Mirallas must now go and take Samuel with him. Not disputing the quality or talent, but his petulance, non defending and overall attitude are abysmal. He is not a team player and will never be. I can't say I know what is going on internally but judging from last night he might not be the best to have around currently. Maybe that is why Aiden gets picked ahead of him. Just my view, and my apologies for the above but I needed to get it out.

1.) Thank you Ed025. can't believe I'm saying this but can't wait for Osman, Mac and Pienaar. Ross and Barry need to be benched.
{Ed025's Note - ossie will at least give us a bit of craft and guile SA, and macca will give us some energy, pienaar needs to buck his ideas up for him to make a difference as well, but ross does need to be taken out of the firing line for his own good mate..
2.) SAToffee: until this season, I wasn't impressed by KM's effort. This season, he started playing like he meant it - maybe he was playing for a transfer!
However, the penalty fiasco was beyond the pale. I say get rid of him now before his valualation lowers.

4.) Km is quality, that we need imo, don't need his attitude though if it were spurs he goes to, i'd be asking for dembele and lennon straight swap

5.) If KM wants CL football - which clearly isn't on the cards at Everton next season (!) - then why would he go to Tottenham? Other than Arsenal, I don't see the likes of next season's likely other English CL qualifiers (Chelsea, ManCity, ManUtd) being interested in KM. More likely some CL club in Europe (Dortmund?) would be his destination. We just need to get top dollar for him before his contract runs down.
{Ed025's Note - the dosh would be very welcome sid...but more importantly for me would be a statement from the club that he will be shown the door for being an absolute prat that wont be tolerated by this club, as a warning to any other prima donnas who think they are bigger than everton fc..
6.) Ed025: your wished-for reaction of the club to KM would be welcome and a breath of fresh air - which is why I'd be pleasantly (and amazedly!) surprised if it actually happened. I suspect that the more critical the fans become, the more entrenched that RM will become in sticking to his "principles" and the more BK will stick to his "don't panic and stick by his choice of RM" attitude and the more the club will meekly and cravenly forgive the indiscretions and failures of the players no matter what they're costing us.

I was going to mention something about Lukaku until I read the above post. I'm not a RM fan but both Lukaku and Mirallas must look deep into themselves and long and hard in the mirror. KM causes discord within the ranks on almost a weekly basis, wrong attitude and actually thinks he is a world beater. Well he can't even get a consistent start in a so called "average" team. Lukaku thinks he is the big fish in a small pond. Really?? he was outperformed in my humble opinion by Macca, Stones and even Jags. Wants to win titles then show us how good you think you are. Sorry for the rant but getting really tired of these 2.
