We desperately need a wide midfielder - preferably on the left as Mirallas can hold down the right hand side. Pienaar and McGeady not up to it . Oviedo out for a bit.
Where have the Atsu and Guardardo rumours gone Ed? Both would be great acquisitions.
We also need another striker . Lukaku seems on his own with Kone out and Mirallas and Naismith not specialists.
Traore still on?

{Ed025's Note - atsu has stalled over playing time spragg, both the traore,s adama and lacina, seem to have gone cool as well mate, no links to guardardo at all though..
1.) Maybe a loan move for Remey with a view to buy?
2.) Mcgeady and pienaar not up to it? That's extremely harsh especially since pienaar has been one of the clubs best offensive players for years and Mcgeady has only been here half a year building up his fitness. Guardado and atsu are a step down from them as well and could only be used in a back up capacity to those aforementioned players. Both traores would be good acquisitions on loan Imo.

McGeady is far better than both Atsu and Guardado. We need more of an inside forward/ playmaker on the left than an out and out winger, anyway. Perisic would be ideal, but those rumours vanished.
5.) Ben Arfa. everton preparing bid. Always wanted to see him at his full potential. RM can bring that out of him

Just saw Manny Fernandes in Nando's in Queen Square . He said he was waiting for John Roma Rickelman or something (hard to understand with a mouthful of burger) . Looks like 2 more players before deadline!

A lot of people continue to bag Moyes . but remember, recent heroes Coleman, Stones and Naismith were all brought in on the cheap by the Ginger One. With these young players, Bobby Brown Shoes' loan gems . and a bit of money in the kitty for new transfers . skies are blue not grey.
Who will RM get in . Bony? Remy? Lukaku? Others?

We need to prepare for the eventuality that Eto'o, Mirallas and Coleman will most likely move on before the start of next season. Add to this the fact that Osman, Hibbert, Distin, Barry, Pienaar and Gibson are either too old and/or perennially injured and we have a lot of recruiting to do. We may need a new manager as well! Tough times . But a win vs WBA will help!
Not so sure. Martinez rightly predicted a physical onslaught from West Ham and chose the more physical Hibbert to step up. I think Garbutt will get a couple of full games soon - vs. Krasnodar at home and an FA Cup game. Martinez is no fool and he'll still be encouraging Garbutt and telling him he has a future here. Baines only has three or four more seasons in him max.
I think he keeps his Camel there.
