So 1 gets away sig signin a new contract what a shame he would have been a great player in blue let's hope ron an steve have a back up plan 2 strikers would be good right now an slot rooney just behind.

Tbone1961

1.) 31 Jul 2017 19:37:02
don't believe everything you read on Twitter.

{Ed025's Note - very true bluey..

2.) 31 Jul 2017 19:42:48
Total media humbug, the guy has already said he wants to sign for us, and he will in the coming days, as will a top striker COYB.

05 Sep 2016 22:36:15
Plz sign 2 strikers in jan got a feeling lalaku will definitely go.

Tbone1961

1.) 06 Sep 2016 01:30:20
We should have signed 2 strikers this summer but I'd wait and see how things are going before writing Rom off. If we're doing well he may well stay, and if we're not then I imagine we won't be too sad to see him leave based off his recent form.

2.) 06 Sep 2016 08:58:55
AB. . I think it's too early to write RM off too he has RK not RM now, and that fact alone will surely motivate him, improve his fitness and boost his confidence fingers crossed anyway.

3.) 06 Sep 2016 09:15:34
Make that RL not ''RM'' .

4.) 06 Sep 2016 10:12:07
His agent is no doubt whispering in his ear. Looking for his next big pay day. I'd imagine Lukaku is covering all angel's. If Everton don't do well he is making other suiters know he is available.

I'd take it with a pinch of salt. If Everton do well he'll stay. You have to hand it to him he's ambitious. That suits his leech of an agent who is praying Everton fail this year. Then he gets to move Lukaku to a new club and get himself and good percentage of the fee.

{Ed002's Note - He wants to move to a Champions League club - but there is no thought of a January move right now.}

5.) 06 Sep 2016 13:28:28
He better start scoring again otherwise no team will want him.

6.) 06 Sep 2016 16:38:35
Agree about his agent NBTB. Saw a few interviews with Rom when he first came to England and he seemed like an extremely level headed and sensible guy - the kind who is ambitious but smart enough to know when he's found his home. It's only since his agent has been involved that he's started saying stupid things in the press and angling for a move. As you said, I have no doubt his agent is desperate for us to fail, but if we're in the upper half of the table, I suspect Rom will be happy enough to stay. Plus, I hope we will have finally scouted a viable replacement for him by that time of not.

{Ed025's Note - the thing with his agent ander is that mino raiola gets the very best deal for his clients and thats why hes very sought after, clubs and supporters cant stand him because the guy is rutless mate..

7.) 06 Sep 2016 23:34:30
Who knows Ed025 he might not have to move to get champions league. Not saying that I think it's going to happen but I wouldn't completely rule it out. Stranger things have happened. I think good chance we'll win some sort of trophy or get into Europa maybe.

{Ed025's Note - you never know mate..

8.) 08 Sep 2016 07:19:45
But praying to the Angels won't do any harm eh NBTB.

9.) 08 Sep 2016 07:56:46
Ha, yea billscrocodiletears. Angle's my bad. Spell check, would be lost without it but on occasion it can misinterprete some words.

17 Aug 2016 18:52:14
Another invester to join us as harry enfield said loads of money more signings to come can't wait to see williams and bolasie in the famous blue the school of seicence is on its way back.

Tbone1961

{Ed025's Note - and i cant wait for classes to start Tbone.. :)

1.) 17 Aug 2016 18:57:53
Have you seen that video doing the rounds by a red 'we're still skint'?

As Kevin Keenan once said 'I would just love it if. ' We get another mega rich investor! Haha.

2.) 17 Aug 2016 20:09:26
If you think that Usmanov will sell his shares in Arsenal to invest in Everton Just can, t see it happening.

3.) 17 Aug 2016 20:15:41
Sell to who and why would someone pay approx 400m for 30% when it would mean having NO influence whatsoever.

4.) 17 Aug 2016 20:45:21
Kroenke would

Why have 70%of Arsenals profits when you can have 100%

Basics of business that Blues.

5.) 17 Aug 2016 21:34:01
Murf. What profits exactly? They don't make much profit, it would be investing a further 400 million to one day sell it for over a billion but business sense would suggest like the dot com boom football has peaked. Usmanov won't happen and as I have said several times before, Moshiri is not football rich, he's the 8th richest owner in the league and about the 15th richest investor. We are in a much healthier position than a year ago but we are no more mega rich than any other established prem team when you factor in tv money vs fair play restrictions. City have endless funds because the owner is so wealthy his companies can be the kit sponsor for x amount and stadium sponsors for y, Mosh is not on that level. Even with Stones money we have 2 big signings 20-30 mill available in my opinion.

6.) 17 Aug 2016 21:46:27
To put things in context Murf, Arsenal in the CL make an annual profit of about 24 million, that would mean a 15 year wait to see a return on the 400 mill to be the person receiving that profit.
Now it's assumed that football has peaked due to the fact that clubs are turning profits now but not matching their valuations. The figures required to takeover leave a very limited number of buyers for what is a potentially extremely volatile market. It's still a play thing rather than a business and until that changes those with the cash to invest become a smaller and smaller party.
Bill Gates ain't going to invest in sports because it's not a wise investment.
Usmanov could want to sell and buy us out but the likely hood of someone matching the required investment for 30% of a toy is slim to none.

7.) 17 Aug 2016 23:04:58
Sorry boys but svenny has it pretty much nailed on there will be more investment I'm sure especially if we get the docks stadium but usmanov will not be happening.

8.) 18 Aug 2016 01:06:05
If you had 13+billion and the guy that has more say than you has 8+billion and you are willing to put more money in then the other guy and you can't get much say on the board the I can see why we are getting linked with usmanov. Not saying it will happen but you can see why the link is there.

9.) 18 Aug 2016 06:47:04
Sven the reported profit is what is made after all bills paid, that invludes owners/ shareholders dividends.

10.) 18 Aug 2016 09:23:23
So morbid on here. There's plenty of people that'd buy the shares. It's a business and they get champions league every season without fail.

11.) 18 Aug 2016 11:33:45
There are plenty of people who would pay £400m to buy shares in a business that they will have NO influence whatsoever?

I don't think do, it doesn't sound like good business to me at all!

Any way he's released a statement today stating that he has no interest or intention of selling his shares in AFC.

12.) 18 Aug 2016 12:20:21
Usmanov is a multi billionaire and could easily disperse his shares in Arsenal amongst his family. Not strictly legal but he would no longer have a direct interest in the club and he would then be free to invest in us. There's always a way around things if you have the money and he has that by the bucket load.

{Ed001's Note - but he is an Arsenal fan, so why would he want to do that?}

13.) 19 Aug 2016 03:56:46
Chelsea are about to sign a 33yr old portugese keeper, this may be as back up so they can let Begovic leave. if we could get Begovic and let him slog it out with stekelenberg for no.1 shirt.

14 Aug 2016 18:03:37
No doubt someone will moan with what ill say but never mind i think joe hart is world class definitely think a could be our no 1 i said last week bolasie will sign o and guess what he's havìng a medical i believe ron will buy a top striker by wednesday and cd mark my words evertonians are born not manifactored coyb.

Tbone1961

1.) 14 Aug 2016 18:10:28
Yes mate I would have him, and we do need a striker even if Rom stays.

2.) 14 Aug 2016 18:30:02
Think we should have 2 up front remember gray an sharp deadly.

3.) 14 Aug 2016 18:34:25
I think he would be a fantastic signing Tbone. He's a lot better than what we already have.

I think he has probably become a bit complacent in the past few seasons with no challenge at club or international level. But ignoring all the TV adverts and the media stories he is a top quality goalkeeper.

He makes mistakes like all goalkeepers, his mistakes are a lot more high profile. but would be a great signing and potential number 1 for the next 8 years.

4.) 14 Aug 2016 19:22:11
Àgree toffee don't know why other fans say no to hart guys englands no 1 and like u say he will b round for years come on ron listen to toffee and i.

5.) 14 Aug 2016 19:28:32
Fully agree Tbone. I would love to have him at goodison.

6.) 14 Aug 2016 20:14:41
We've become used to mediocrosy in the gk department ever since nigel martin.
Not saying howard was rubbish for us, i'm sure he won us the odd game here n there but that's what he got payed for he certainly cost us points every season he played.
Wat i'm saying is, is that hart would be easily be our best gk since big nige.
Not that i think he'll sign (haha) just think he's quality and wanted to say.

7.) 14 Aug 2016 20:48:42
I agree he would be an upgrade on our current keepers and also would class as homegrown English or whatever criteria they go by! However it would need to be the right price!

8.) 14 Aug 2016 21:16:38
Could not agree more, fingers crossed we will get Hart.

9.) 14 Aug 2016 21:30:09
Would be a statement of intent and ambition if we did sign him.

10.) 15 Aug 2016 01:23:22
I would have him and maybe in several years when the Arabs have gone home and City have returned to their rightful place in the Championship he can "tap up" Stones to return to Everton.

11.) 15 Aug 2016 08:12:10
I wouldn't moan at you for believing Joe Hart is world class. But I would like to take the opportunity to warn you that, apart from the delusions, taking large amounts of drugs is not good for you.

10 Jul 2016 17:27:33
Tell me ed002 is all this talk of mata an witzel true or are they just talk as usual we need to get a move on i don't want us to be a middle table team it would be nice if we could get quality players in and push for europe nex season coybs.

Tbone1961

{Ed002's Note - As I said before, I know nothing of any approach for Mata but there is interest from a number of clubs, including Everton, for Witsel.}

1.) 11 Jul 2016 13:12:23
Stop worrying we have a new manager and coaching staff give him chance to assess the team things will start moving soon let's put some faith in the new set up.

Just a thought what about callin our new ground goodison park dock.

Tbone1961

1.) 10 Apr 2017 23:00:40
What about calling it, anything that someone is prepeard to pay us 150m, wants.

2.) 10 Apr 2017 23:07:51
I prefer the iPhone stadium with a £2bil sponsorship deal.

3.) 10 Apr 2017 23:52:09
How about the City of Liverpool stadium to just clarify that we as a club are the city of Liverpool 😂 But seriously it will be named whoever pays the most to have there name in lights each and every home game.

4.) 10 Apr 2017 23:54:03
Holy Trinity Park.

{Ed033's Note - or, Under Water Park? 😋

5.) 11 Apr 2017 17:18:19
That's in 80 years Ed033 lol.

6.) 12 Apr 2017 10:41:46
(In) The Mersey Stadium!

Seriously though as long as its not Ryanair or EasyJet stadium I don't mind. Don't think it'll be an airline due to limited long haul from the area.

It could be a phone company they have money to burn these days. The o2? The EE stadium? Although phones4u stadium would be pretty rubbish too!

10 Jan 2017 22:03:32

2.) 11 Jan 2017 11:24:58
Can we do this window without a centre half surely not, as well as the suggested. But I'm personally delighted I've watched a bit of ms interceptions passes he is so comfy with the ball cool customer. Massive step up for us and ghanna will love playing beside him. Great morning even the moaners must be happy.

01 Jan 2017 16:17:44
Happy new year to all eds great info in 2016 keep it up coybs.

Time to get rid of of our dead wood players lennon, del boy, gibson, an barkley tries to take the world on instead of passin to players who are in a better position to score enough of this we need another striker a cm a rb a lb an a keeper.

Tbone1961

1.) 21 Sep 2016 19:01:01
2 centre miss I'd say mate. gibson and clev to be gone in jan.
