Is there any truth in us making an offer for Sam Byram from leeds?
Heard some great things about him from a few leeds fans

Think it's going to be a case of we only move for him if Coleman leaves.

is there any links to anyone of genuine quality yet? 1 hour left and I feel absolutely gutted by our dealings this window.

cleverley is at best a decent prem player.

holgate is very average according to barnsley fans.

only ever seen mori three times and he looked solid, but I remember watching him in the copa libertadores against cruzeiro and he really does lack pace, mayke destroyed him for pace all game and he's not exactly the quickest himself, think we have overspent by probably triple.

no nothing about rodrigues but his highlights look okay.

deulofeu is exciing but as inconsistent as mirallas if we are honest but was buttons so its a great signing potentially.

but all in all that's a disgraceful transfer window for us, we lack back up to coleman, and lukaku, we still have no creative midfielder yet overspend on an average defender who lacks pace while rejecting bids for naismith and mcgeady where the money could buy us what we need, feel proper miffed off by the club, find it strange we can't even compete with championship clubs for fees, more money than ever from the premier league and sky etc yet we are still skint?

John Terry is slow didn't stop him from becoming one of the top defenders in the league, did it!?

Mate we took a 20 million loan against next seasons tv deal I'm guessing that's just to survive.
What angers me is the club don't speak to us. If we are in the poo tell us, who knows it might unite us and make us get behind the team. We love backs against the wall scenarios.
Putting on a pretence with an exaggerated fee for a player we spent no more than 5 million on mori to make it seem like we have cash and taking the Stones not for sale stance whilst secretly taking a 20 million loan is not helpful and does nothing to quell the negativity of the fans to the club in general.
Just tell us how it is and we can then get on with our job of supporting rather than speculating abs moaning

How do you know we took out a loan? If it had been that desperate and out in public knowledge we'd have had clubs crawling all over us, Stones would have been at Chelsea now and not at even £30 Million, McCarthy wouldn't have signed a new deal, Barkley and Coleman may well have also been hawked around.

aflm78 you aren't serious are you mate? john terry at 24 had pace not much but enough, fuenes mori has none, i'm no expert on argentinian football but I watched almost all the copa liberatdores and wasnt impressed with mori, he reminded me of a mix between alcaraz and shawcross, no pace, okay with his feet but wins headers, yeah I get what youe saying svenny but doesn't the tv and prem money work ou to roughly 80 million a season? thas 160 million over the last two years yet we can't compete with championship clubs for fees, sheff wed able to offer 14 million for rhodes yet we end up with a way over priced mori at 9.5 there is clearly something fucking up somewhere

Gos, it will be in the national press within a week. Clear evidence of serious underhand dealings. Involving offshore and also Irish signatories that have f all to do with everton or football on any level. West Ham are involved as well but seems their loan was to invest ours was to I hope stave off debtors worst case line pockets

Diamond that's funny because South American football journalist says he has 'a decent turn of pace'. The difference is he gets paid to write about football and probably isn't full of Scrumpy every time he sits down to watch a match lol So excuse me for doubting your assessment!

Think I'll just wait and see for myself how fast or not he is! Cheers though! :)

personally gutted about the mori deal as I don think he's all that good but made up we didn't go for van dijk he looked poor against scottish players nevermind premier league stars, he was ran ragged v malmo ffs, could be worse we could sign an ageing aaron lennon whos never scored goals consistently or got assists. atall, we have runners already what we need is quality
