Is this a site now where anyone who doesn't have an opinion which follows the blind masses is now called a SPOILT BRAT if so it's really deteriorated and Ed 025 that was ill-mannered.

blue lagoon

{Ed025's Note - it was not direct at you personally BL, it was in reference to getting a present (like we have just got with carlo) and not being content with that but wishing for bigger and better(who i dont know), why cant you just be happy with what the club are trying to do which is imorove and move forward?..

1.) 24 Dec 2019 11:19:31
I never criticised CA read my posts all of them.

{Ed025's Note - then please explain the negativity you have about his appointment? and who you would have preferred BL, im sure we would all like an insight into how the appointment of one of the top managers in world football can be seen with such apathy and disdain..

2.) 24 Dec 2019 13:02:19
This isn't aimed at anyone but I'm positive a few fans would love us to be relegated, just so they can give a cheeky smile, tut and happily say "I told you so". Can't they see this is probably the highest calibre manager we have ever appointed. We could attract a different class of player just down to the fact players want to play for him. Let's all enjoy the festive period, sit back and enjoy the rest of the season. That's what I'm going to do anyway. Merry Christmas to all Eds and fans on here.

{Ed025's Note - and to you dentie mate..

3.) 24 Dec 2019 13:27:12
I’m a little surprised and made up Carlo’s our new manager and as far as experience goes I don’t think we could of hired any better, not to mention the success he’s had in his career so far. A big step up in class if you ask me. Don’t think Bonnie Langford would ever cut it as a premier league manager anyways, she’s much better off in the theatres. Reckon that was just the kenwright link :) Merry xmas all! Get drunk.

{Ed025's Note - merry xmas peter mate..

4.) 25 Dec 2019 14:31:20
I can't think of a way that this will not sound like a wind up but I am asking it anyway. BlueLagoon, I am genuinely interested in hearing your answer to ED025 or are you sulking in a corner?

we need dogs of war, do we think CA will or can provide that? should have stuck with big Dunc, we haven't got the raw material to play CA's type of football this will end in financial tears i'm afraid.

1.) 23 Dec 2019 10:40:29
This appointment will be the making of big Dunc. He will learn from the very best in the world on what managing at the top level is about and what it takes.

I love Dunc but he needs more work on his tactics and more importantly man management.

2.) 23 Dec 2019 11:16:21
Let's try and be a bit more optimistic.

3.) 23 Dec 2019 12:15:58
Well i can tell you that this lot can't be dogs of war Blue Lagoon. Most haven't got the heart for it.
Those days of crunching tackles have also gone (well unless you play for Tottenham) .
Its exactly why City knock it about until the opposition fall asleep and Leicester and Liverpool knock it over the top as often as possible.

4.) 23 Dec 2019 13:14:39
Ancelotti has pretty much won everything, though I'm sure I will be corrected if I'm wrong, we get a top manager and people still have a pop! He has obviously seen something we dont, and believes he can take this club forwards, but like he said it will take time we should all show our support and look forward too next season.

5.) 23 Dec 2019 13:32:54
How can anybody be criticising CA already? It really does beggar belief. A manager who has excelled in his career, biggest profile to possibly ever grace our club, and a real statement of intent as to where this club hopes to get to. It's an absolute coup!
Perhaps it will go pear shaped, nobody knows, but to write him off already and start the negative jibes on day one of his reign is a disgrace.

{Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

6.) 23 Dec 2019 13:43:21
Let’s embrace what CA will bring to the table I think a lot of the squad will know they are on notice for the places if they don’t put a shift in or do what is asked.

7.) 23 Dec 2019 14:11:29
Usual dour dross from the usual suspects. Unbelievable.
Seems some would be happier with Sam Alardyce. Thankfully it's just an echo chamber of about 25 blokes, so I doubt anyone needs to take too much notice, even if it is tedious and annoying.

8.) 23 Dec 2019 14:35:44
So basically what some are saying is that CA is to good for are club. Unbelievable some posts on here.

9.) 23 Dec 2019 15:38:01
Nobody is saying that Skylark. Do you know what coup means?

10.) 23 Dec 2019 17:35:01
Coup yes why? I wasn't replying to Worcester.

11.) 23 Dec 2019 17:56:39
Somewhere to keep chickens?

12.) 23 Dec 2019 18:13:12
Or your tea.

13.) 24 Dec 2019 09:32:45
No lads it's a type of car.

14.) 24 Dec 2019 16:49:50

hello gents, not been on for a while, but been thinking about our situation a lot, as we all have, my take on the whole position is that the Everton football club we all new, does not exist anymore, only Coleman and Davies exhibit any heart or determination for the club and us fans, the rest are just mercenaries using us as a stepping stone or there for the cash, they're mostly failures at other clubs and are the only ones we can attract, it's a never ending spiral of failure, what worries me is that we end up like Forrest, WBA, Villa, Leeds and other clubs who were considered to be in top class in their day, sorry to be so gloomy but that's how i feel today.

W. B Keane is being given time to adjust to BST but he may never get it right.

ED002 i didn't mean in previous post the multitude of wild connections in the transfer window, that we get linked to, but connections you sort of hint to genuine.

Ed002, what on earth is going on re Sanson, and others over the years, the common thread for years has been the inability to get targets over the line, penny pinching since the Moores era and reports like yours that Everton do themselves no favours can i ask what F**K up has happened now, we even had a director giving Nigel Martyn directions to Leeds at one time, i give in.

blue lagoon

{Ed002's Note - There are others interested in him as well, and in England there has also been a meeting with Wolves. If Everton want to resolve issues like this then they need to behave professionally. It is not just Everton who are struggling with respect to behavior, a number of English sides are being tainted as amateurs - and the oft cited arrogance that comes with having money.}

Ed666,Think you missed the gist of my post, it was basically about what I think Everton could do, and reasons why they would.
didn't suggest Jose would go to Everton, just a reason not to want him, and I don't think he would want to go head to head with him over the park, he likes to get under peoples skin, Klopp just laughs at him
Pep walked into a top team,
Arteta too much of a gamble in present situation.

BlueJohn, or should I call you "Sir" now fishing is a pastime I do know nothing about, anyway thought you were binning my posts. Be a shame if you do, if you read them (and the ED's answers first) , you could pick up a few tips, so after this and your reply, shall we agree to stop the insults. let's try to be a bit more jovial after such a great win last night, by the way I was number 3 thumbs up.
