Hi eds just wondered if there is any substance in these latest takeover rumours or is it more rubbish thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Yes there is. My understanding is that there is serious interest in Everton from two parties and the chances of it being sold are reasonably high. There is a lot of interest in the investment in Premier League clubs because of the significant increase in television money that will be available from the end of next season.}

I know it probably won't happen but I think naisy needs to be made captain for the rest of the season at least he shows what it means to pull on the everton shirt and at least gives a toss. What does everybody think

i think the first half of the season Naismith ws outstanding and by far our best player, but unfortunately his form has severely dipped since christmas, maybe he should b given a rest, he is a workhorse, but isn't creating much lately, not on top of his game at the minute

Sid apparently celtic have taken junior on trial from us mate.
1.) Fozza: thanks for that - I saw that info elsewhere earlier and posted it in the original thread I started below. If he does leave, at least it'll free up a spot in our Premier League squad.

apparently been confirmed that rom's signed on a 5 year deal won't mention names but will probably no who I mean lol club will announce tonight. Be buzzin if true :)

All i want from the new stadium is the same atmosphere as the grand old lady but bigger and better facilities.
{Ed025's Note - i imagine it will take a bit of getting used to fozza, west ham, arsenal and southampton all struggled to perform early on in theirs, but as tou say its the only way forward if we want to be eating at the top table mate..
