Rumours of Riquelme coming out of retirement on a short contract to help close friend Martinez with his relegation fight!

Thought I'd be first!:) wouldn't be transfer deadline day without Riquelme!

kurajan

{Ed025's Note - your right kurajan, we have people at john lennon airport waiting for him mate..

Heard rumours prior to todays game that Bobby and some of the senior players have fallen out, any truth ed??

kurajan

{Ed025's Note - not as i am aware kurajan...but it would not surprise me mate..

1.) Hmmm - hardly surprising, as it's nigh on impossible for an entire squad of players - especially those not being selected and/or being asked to play in a different (and technically/tactically challenging way) - to be kept happy and contented. The players can't have it both ways: they complain about tiredness, too many fixtures in too short a period, no time to rest and recover from matches and injuries, and yet they don't like being rested and rotated for certain matches!

Morning all, don't hear many rumours but like to share what I do hear, this is in relation to the Henan deal, now every man and his dog knows that there was a third party involved in this transfer, however what I'm hearing is that we didn't have a problem per say with the asking price but we did with the ownership rights, we apparently smelled a rat in regards to the 'third parties' disclosure of who had percentage rights to Henan, and we didn't what another 'Tevez' debacle with someone else claiming percentage after the deal had gone through. The premier has the strongest rules and regulations in regards 3rd party ownership and penalties and thus he's gone to Olympiacos for a year as any 'extra' ownership claims will have to be declared before a further transfer!

1.) We have a 50 mill striker anyway in big Steven Naismith, its a rumour site guys I wouldn't worry COYB

2.) If a 3rd party is a problem and against the rules. why can teams loan players, as a loan player has a 3rd party in the club that is Loaning him out. as you have to pay the player his wage and the loaning team a fee, so there you have a 3rd party involved (strange)

Hearing we have agreed a 22 million plus add on's for Rom, that the news Lolpool were interested was a play act by Chekski to try stop us playing such hard ball, apparently interest has completely cooled in Rom from around Europe during the World Cup as other cheaper/ less out spoken options became available! It is now down to the player and terms, this could be a sticking point, Lukaku seems to think he should be playing for one of the Champions League big hitters, and if we don't sign him its because of the player not Bobby/Blue Bill!

Whether this comes off or not I think it shows just how far the club has come! 10 years ago or so we sold Rooney for a similar fee, and I never dreamed we'd be bidding that much cash on one player without a billionaire financing us!

kurajan

1.) Everton play hardball with Chelsea haha I've heard it all now that's made my day.

2.) The 'hard ball' that has you in stiches mike apparently refers to our un-willing-ness to meet Chelsea's bloated price tag, we have our valuation and are sticking to it. This 'hard ball' is practiced by most clubs when conducting transfer negotiations.

If the Chelsky defence is still AWOL today and we produce a good desplay against City then tomorrow we could have a bid from Chelsea for Stones that's enough to buy a small country!

kurajan

1.) 23 Aug 2015 14:32:33
They've enquired about Varane from Real as they know that Stones WILL NOT be sold - as everybody should now know and accept

18 Aug 2015 11:51:15
For the record I think Stones is quality, and is a potential future England captain, that saying, I think if we get anywhere near 40million we should take it! As good as Stones is he is only a CB and half his price is due his amazing potential and because he's English (always pushes the price up jus look at Sterling). Realisticly how much can his price go up any more this season without European football or an international competition??

Now in saying all that I would only sell at 40 million provided the cash doesn't end up with the Arteta money!

kurajan

1.) 18 Aug 2015 15:35:41
Why would you sell our best players?

2.) 18 Aug 2015 16:19:28
I'm with wakka, why sell our best players and his value will keep going up.

Maybe we should do what is done in some countries on the continent when they are un happy with their club, no banners, no blame they still support their club but they all wear black to home games to show their displeasure!

Just found out why we ain't signed anyone, our transfer budgets is less than any of us thought its.

Some magic beans
Half a packet of skittles
Some Martinez massage vouchers
Aidan Mc Geady swap
Unlimited hugs from Kenwright

kurajan

1.) 12 Aug 2015 12:59:58
The beans are for producing all the "hot air" the media say about us.
The skittles explain why our players drop like ninepins with hamstring injuries.
The massage vouchers are appropriate for RM, as he does "rub up" supporters the wrong way with his comments.
Don't know about a swap for McGeady - we need to make a clean "sweep" of the ageing squad, we need to stop other clubs trying to "swipe" our talent, and we need to "swoop" for some gems.
The hugs are clearly unlimited - what's worrying is that we might end up with a squad full of mugs.
Oh, if I didn't have this forum to post on about Everton - well, I just don't know how I'd fill my day LOL ;-)

2.) 12 Aug 2015 13:26:59
That's made me chuckle.

All this Stones talk has let another issue slip under the table! delboy has suposidly done his hamstring in!! How many is that now? Close to 50 hamstring injuries since Bobby took over!! It was highlighted last season and delboy only 2 weeks into pre season has joined the list!

Activating releases clauses doesn't mean as much as it should do it used to! Remember Arsenal with ratbiy and the dark side with that winger last season( think he was from Russia)

Fantastic start in my opinion, especially considering all the doom and gloom surrounding the club. As for the no 10, I firmly believe we need a little magician to in lock stubborn defences, however we have scored 8 league goals and are diamond Ross has scored 2 and made 4!!

Just remember this waro your club came from our cast offs , from the bits, scraps and crap that we decided wasn't good enough to be chosen! That simple fact must kill you and every red!!

Depending on our performance and approach and taking into account the half time reaction against Watford! If it's not going well the booing will have started well before they've entered the field!

We did play Billy in the wrong position.
That was playing him on the pitch when he should've been in the stands, and just to make matters worse we asked him to run, chase back and tackle, after which Billy looked so confused that he threw his toys out of the pram!
