Oh for god sake, i'm all for smart young buys but this striker problem needs solving NOW, we should stop wasting time buying could be decent in 5 years time strikers, rom needs to make his mind up very very soon as the forward issue is becoming most taxing

4.) Martinez said we would buy a mid and three attackers. Presumably one would be a left sided player to back up pienaar and one will be a starter like Lukaku, bony, bacca. Etc. That leaves one for a player like hennen who could be phenomenal and should feature this year a bit as a too be 19 year old like del was.

Talented young forward by the sounds of things, but surely our focus at this moment in time has got to be on the first team squad? We NEED to get a couple of new faces into the team as early as possible so we can hit the ground running. I fully believe bobby will sort it out but it is frustrating to see teams around us and below spending all sorts and where stagnant! Anyways COYB!

9.) Why are we harping on about his age? Lukaku must of been around the same age when he was at West Brom a couple of seasons ago, would you have not taken him then?
If Martinez thinks he has it, then who are we to question him, otherwise we would all be top Managers, he is not our main striker target, but may surprise us all.

If he's good enough then he's old enough, need to sort lukaku in next couple of weeks. Sure Bobby's got a plan b though.
12.) @Slev. Martinez has said he is for the under 21s mate so that shows he doesn't think he's good enough yet.

I didn't say he was good enough, just that he may surprise us, will go back to the situation with Lukaku, he wasn't bought by Chelsea to go straight into there first team, but didn't take him long to start bagging goals at the age of 19 for WBA, so why all the negativity, he may well be a dud, who knows. could get Francis Jeffers back from Accrington he is still there as a stop gap for a season??

If this was moyes we would be screaming blue murder. The truth of it is we have not improved the squad from last year and there is only a few weeks to the new season. As of now we're still stuck with osman, naismith etc and until we sort it out were going to always be reliant on players like this. The old saying of I'm sure the signings are imminent has gone on a bit too long for my liking.

Nobody's saying sack martinez ed but it doesn't matter who is managing the club it is the everton way to have the fans gossiping throughout the summer about who were going to sign an then nothing happens until the last day of the season. Have to disagree over naismith though ed think he's rubbish basically

Dont any of them, morrison is overrated and has an attitude, .chadli is basically a fast winger except he isn't the least bit fast and ince is basically the same as zaha and redmond, fast and skillful but not that good
2.) I think zaha and Morrison can both be quality young fast and skillfull which I think bobby would bring the best out of imo who would you prefer?

This might be everton letting this out, so when Felliani goes and Baines stays .it makes us look strong .either way the timing of this article makes it very dodgy if he's been edging for a move from the start of pre season the Manchester United press wagon would have well got hold of it by now and this story would have been out weeks ago, by the way Baines is on the bench 2 nite, wouldn't be near the squad if he was hell bent on leaving

Cole went from Arsenal to Chelsea for £25M. Had abot 2 yrs left on his deal. That's the base for Baines. He offers more than Cole in terms of assists and goals so whatever he cost its at least the same or slightly more.

Vargas going to qpr not sure how much but worth a late bid I think what's your opinions bluea?
1.) Personally, I liked watching him play in Serie A. My only concern is that he seems more of a winger than an out & out striker &, at the moment, we have more wings than Colonel Sanders!

4.) He's made 22 apps 12 of those off the bench so a return of 2 goals 5 assists and 83% passing accuracy isn't all that bad
5.) His best position is being an attacking midfielder for me would give Barkely good cover
6.) I said Chadli was crap when were first linked with him.He adds nothing to our squad.He hardly ever scores and his assists are also non existent.

So you want to put Barkley on the wing? IMO we should stick with same formation plus pienaar, oviedo & mgeady are ready made wingers maybe not so much oviedo but never put our best CAM on the wing
I will save my judgement until 11pm still believe a midfielder will come in and striker hopefully
