Sly Sputs are reporting the following:

". understands Christian Atsu has agreed to join Everton on season-long loan. Everton have been leading the chase for the Ghana international after holding talks with the player earlier this month, but the deal stalled because the player could not be guaranteed regular first-team football. However, those problems have been ironed out and Atsu is set to become the latest new face at Goodison Park."

1.) Ssn are not reporting anything of the sort. On ssn Transfer (rumours) it says he has agreed to join WB or Everton.

Yes they are and yes he has!

Kone traveling to Germany with squad, so he cannot be injured. Hopefully we see him for at least 45 minutes because we sure need as much up front as possible, with 1 more hopefully.

Travelling squad: Howard, Robles, Stones, Distin, Baines, Duffy, Jagielka, Alcaraz, Garbutt, Hibbert, Browning, Gibson, Besic, McCarthy, Barry, Osman, Barkley, Pienaar, Naismith, Mirallas, McGeady, McAleny, Hope, Long, Lukaku, Kone.

1.) Hopefully Robles is on a one way ticket!

2.) Evil-minded Davey mate. Ha ha

3.) At least 45 minutes during this season?

Apparently representative of Barcelona is in London for talks with Everton over loan deal for Adama Traore. Only 18 but first team ready by all accounts. Be a good signing as he can play wings and is fast and skilful

steviegee

1.) This would be some coup, this guy is a superstar in the making.

2.) Go watch him in Youtube . very much in the Delafeu mould with the step overs, but very much bigger and stronger and faster

3.) The boy is like a freight train there is just no stoping him. Football's answer to Jonah Lomu; Grace, pace, skill and power! Get him in Bobby M

4.) The Barca player we are in talks with is Ibrahim Allefay.

G O'keefe has stated that the Atsu deal is back on and both parties are resuming negotiations. If they can both agree the terms then it could be completed by the end of the week

Everton have won the race to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku for a club record £28.5m, according to Italian media.

Jose Mourinho sent the 21-year-old out on loan to the Toffeess last season where he scored 15 times in 31 appearances and will permanently dispense of him now Dider Drogba has returned to Stamford Bridge.

The move would be a coup for Everton manager Roberto Martinez, who appears to have shaken off competition from potential suitors including Real Madrid, German side Wolfsburg and Italian league champions Juventus for the Belgian international.

It seems obvious to me that Booby is slowly building a very useful young squad for the future, playing his style of football. Stanek, Galloway, Henen (hopefully - we cannot allow this one to escape), Garbutt, Stones, Duffey, Coleman, Besic, McCarthy, Atsu, Barkley, Lukaku and a few of the U-21s.

This can only be a good move and one for a long future of increasing success.

We've finally got him guys:

Muhamed Besic has signed a four-year deal with Everton FC for a fee ranging between €4-5 million.

According to Everton FC's official website, Muhamed Besic will travel with the Everton team to Bangkok, Thailand, where they will play a friendly match against Leicester City this Sunday. Besic will not take part in this match as he works with his post-World Cup fitness.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez will officially present Besic as an Everton player when the team returns to Liverpool next week.

Roberto Martinez: "The next few days will allow Mo to meet the players, but more importantly it is an opportunity for him to get into optimum condition ahead of the new season. I am looking forward to introducing him to the Everton fans when we come back but first I would like to thank Ferencváros for the way in which they have approached the negotiations. They have been very understanding at this point and we have enjoyed a good working relationship."

Muhamed Besic played two great seasons for Ferencvaros in the Hungarian league, where he was awarded the Player of the Season. The 21 year-old went on to play every minute in Bosnia-Herzegovina's 2014 World Cup campaign, where he was one of the nation's Top Performers.

Besic's main position is defensive midfield, but he can also be deployed anywhere in defense, notably center-back, the position he played for Ferencvaros.

An interesting tid bit: After the World Cup match between Bosnia and Argentina, Everton manager Roberto Martinez heavily praised Muhamed Besic on ESPN's post-game show, leading many fans in both Bosnia and in the Everton circle to predict Besic's eventual move to Everton weeks in advance.

The latest news coming from Holland and Moaninho is that Lukaku will decide his future and Everton are quietly confident of securing his signature. Guess it depends on what Moaninho says to him when he returns from holiday.

Plenty of rumours that Everton are confident that Lukaku will sign in the coming days. Besic is still ongoing but due to complications with what is owed to Hamburg it is taking time. Martinez has come out and said he wants one more MF and 3 strikers. make of this what you will but I hope some of this is true

It is obvious we need pace. There is none in the team. Sneiderlin Gana and Klaasen cannot play in the same team. Too much alike. A good quality striker is a must too.

Personally, I can't see us wasting £65m on a defender when we need a top quality striker.

Liverpool played the same amount of games and look how good they were today. Squad is not deep enough - granted we have injuries - and we don't have the pace to trouble the better teams. When Bolasie and Coleman are back this will help, but will this be this year, or sometime in January?

It seems the Belfodil deal may be off. Something came to light which Everton didn't like. Whether they are looking into it and it is on hold, or stopped, I don't know. This is from Belgian and Algerian ITKs.
