Personally I think Ross is a lifer at EFC and I'd b gutted if he left. You can't buy his passion for the club.

Totally disagree, I don't think he shows anymore passion for the club than any of the others (which is very little indeed) . We don't help him with getting on his back but the fact is he is nowhere near the player we thought he'd be and he doesn't make up for it with effort.

I agree aches and Baines. His passion for Everton is as good as anyone's imho. He has a dislike for certain so called supporters alright. Which I fully understand and even agree with. Namely those on his back for no real reason.

In the wise words of the poet "Bite their hand off. "

I think the fact that he was in bits at half time in the FA cup semi final because he thought fans were booing him shows that he loves the club

Exactly sidutton. If he didn't care that incident would not of bothered him.

Then maybe the issue is that he hasn't got the mental strength to become a top player.
He certainly has the physique and the technical ability but take off the tinted glasses and tell me the last game he dominated? because I can't think of one.
Gerrard did
Hazard does
Even Arteta did.

Ross just doesn't do it and with his attributes he should.
Whether that is a lack of desire, lack of mental strength or just not quite good enough I'm not sure. But in far too many games he is just on the periphery

We were sat in lower Bullens, yesterday and sorry to say but there are still people slagging Barkley off (why) I know he set the goal up but the amount of 50/ 50 tackles Deulofeu pulled out of was unreal

{Ed025's Note - i dont like us slagging our own players AB, but i think we may need to get over thinking ross is this great player who should play every game and the team built around, maybe thats half the problem with the club that sentimentality creeps in and we put players on pedestals when really they are bang average, i would myself have no problem if koeman wanted to scrap the whole of our team and start again mate..

Unfortunately if we are to break into the top 4 we need top 4 players and Ross isn't one. Whether he becomes one under koeman is his own choice.
