Reports circulating in the Netherlands that Brands could be announced this week! Would be a huge step in the right direction for me!
Fingers crossed this is true and happens and it’s good news from the Netherlands and not a Nevergoingtohappenland story 🤞.

if it's true it's a start Southern still some massive decisions to be made do we get a new manager or stick with this idiot just who replaces Elstone (somebody half decent would be a start) that man has made some shocking decisions reg our club Kitbag being the biggest one which players stay or go who do we bring in just what is happening with the stadium as Dan Mies said in March we are more weeks away rather than months to see designs and we are still waiting it's hard being a blue.

Well if it is true bluey, why would we keep SA? If we did get Brands and he dictated the way he wants us to play, could you honestly see SA being able to pull it off. He only knows one way and that's the mid table way. We need a complete clear out from DF to coaching staff (bar a few) .

The reports from holland acutely said that brands could be announced this week but if not announced this week he will probably not be joining us guess we just have to wait till brands comes out with his decision.

Nick agree with you on this.

If Marcel Brands is coming to Everton then as the Director of Football he will have a style of play in mind.

I cannot see Allardyce dovetailing with his appointment.

Ed25 may be right and he stays one more season in order for the club to get the right guy but the bottom line is Sam is a stop gap to better things, ensuring we stay competetive (dire football i know) in the league i. e. top 10 finish. Not good enough for our club, agreed but I do think we will start getting things right in the next couple of seasons.

As they say, a journey of a thousands steps starts with the first. The first was last summer and i expect us to make more progress this summer.

Since 1987 this club has been on a downward trajectory and unfortunatley it'll take time to fix.
