Morning fellow toffees,

Ed’s I know it early doors in the window but have you heard anything about out goings?

We have a massively bloated squad with some players who have zero chance of playing,

Mirrales
Basic
Jimmy Mc
Morgan Snid
Pennington
Niasse
Tosan (if we bring in another striker)

And more.

All the talk is people coming in and arguably the harder job is shifting some of these lads on! To create space and reduce our massive wage bill

Any info much appreciated.

{Ed002's Note - I would think that the following will either be available or subject to interest from elsewhere:
Jordan Pickford (G)
Mateusz Hewelt (G) will be let go
Cuco Martina (RB/D) - need to find a buyer in the low countries I would think - no future at Everton
Jonjoe Kenny (RB) will go on loan
Luke Garbutt (LB) decision to be made
Leighton Baines (LB) out of contract but will be extended
Michael Keane (CB) Everton will look to keep him but there will be interest
Kurt Zouma (CB) Everton want to buy Zouma but for now he has returned to Chelsea.
Phil Jagielka (CB) maybe retirement is the best option - out of contract
Ashley Williams (CB) - strikes me if he keeps playing he will be fodder for someone like Port Vale
Morgan Schneiderlin (DM) - if a buyer can be found but may need to keep if Gueye gets his wish to leave - perhaps the summer but Everton will need to keep the asking price reasonable
Idrissa Gueye (CM/DM) - PSG keen and the one that could bring in much needed money
Muhamed Besic (CM)
Harry Charlsey (CM) will be let go
Andres Gomes (CM) Everton will buy him back
James McCarthy (CM) - a loan maybe but if no and he gets little game time then he will have to look to move on in the summer for better opportunities
Nikola Vlasic (AM) wants to stay at CSKA and will
Ademola Lookman (W) same as last year
Theo Walcott (RW)
Yannick Bolasie (LW)
Ellis Simms (S) is a player Everton should look to keep with four German sides having watched him this season
Kevin Mirallas (S)
Cenk Tosun (S)

Cheers for the info ed just wondering if it would be possible to expand a little bit
Keane who may be interested and what sort of price
Pickford is it the club looking to change following last season or is it the player or just bigger clubs looking
Sims which German clubs have been scouting
Cheers for any info on this.

{Ed002's Note - Everton won't be looking to sell Michael Keane but Spurs are keen and Arsenal might be at the right price. Pickford wants to step up. Hoffenheim and Beyer Leverkusen have an interest in Simms and others have looked.}

Pickford is an interesting one Ed who would want him because surely Everton would be asking a big fee for him.

What do all the posters on here think if Pickford was sold?

I would sell this summer or next while he still has England’s no1 jersey surely that would bump his price up and make us a nice profit.

Why would we look to sell Pickford, Gk value has gone through the roof recently we would only have to spend all that to probably get some one that is not as good, Pickford value will not be dropping any time soon.

From what I make out we aren’t looking to sell Pickford more that he wants to step up from what Ed said so I take that as he wants to play in Europe
Contracted until 2024 so hopefully we can push on and give him what he wants.

There's a lot of talk that Pickford will go, and there were a lot of people not happy with him last year.

I wonder which bigger clubs would even contemplate signing Pickford, unless De Gea were to leave Man United, if someone was to offer £50 mil, i think that would be agood deal all round, especially if he doesn't want to be here.

Imo Pickford is at the level he should be. He doesn't justify bigger teams coming in for him atm. He's still a good goalkeeper with a great future but he should just focus on consistent performances for now. If he made the mistakes he made through the season at say a top 6 team I could imagine them selling or loaning out at the least. For me Pickford should stay at the club for his sake and ours as I think it is a good match for another season. I can't imagine Keane leaving at all tbh. I'm confused about Lookman, his role next season and his future with the club. Mccarthy should go imo although I am a fan of his I think we should clear for room.

I agree BT that Pickford is at his level, sometimes he makes GK mistakes and there have been times when his poor distribution has led to conceeding. If he didn't make those mistakes then i could see a top 6 team coming in for him but until he is consistent I can't see a big team coming in for him.
