Evening all. Do any of the Eds know if Moise Kean is looking leave in January and if Everton are even entertaining this? I would assume not seeing as he only joined in the summer but you know what they say about assumptions.

{Ed002's Note - I explained in the summer why Moise Kean was sold to Everton and he has the need for regular game time. He is expected to be pushed by Mino to fight for a way out of Everton and in to Roma - the interest of two other sides seems to have gone.}

Thanks for the info Ed. Much appreciated.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

So do you think Everton made a mistake in signing Kean . I don't know anything about the young lad but seems like a few pundits kind of frown upon the young kid.

{Ed002's Note - Yes it was a mistake and at best Everton were to be no more than a stepping stone.Y He is seen as having a very good future but you need to remember that there was an effort to get him out of Juventus to a stepping stone club (Ajax was first choice of course but rejected the opportunity knowing what was going on) and then on again elsewhere. It has caused some ructions with an advisor to the club.}

Thanks ed. A lot of mistakes seem to be going on at this club at the moment.

{Ed002's Note - Yes, the coach is a major one, the involvement of the owner and his advisor (now advisors), failure to address the real needs and adding LWs, etc..}

So why would the owner invest and spend millions in a club and let it be run so bad by himself or others when the likes of yourself and us peasants can see what we need and where it's going wrong after all he is a successful business man.

{Ed002's Note - Well he is an owner of a football club, and in the same way as you would want if you owned it, has ideas to improve it. He spends a lot on "good advice". If Brands stays he needs more control. The owner and his advisor need to step back. The coach needs replacing. The major issues in the side need resolving - and this can be done largely through sales. Look to a decent loan or two and get on track.}

Surely he would have to be playing well for to be pushing his way out to Roma.

I can’t personally see us taking a loss on him at this stage as he’s a future superstar imo.

Unless he’s mentally like his rather poorly chosen idol
( Balotelli) and he’s got a few screws loose.

I can’t see him going anywhere for a year or so

The biggest issue for me is Silva isn’t playing Him in his correct position. And until he gives him 10-20 games up top he’s not going to acclimatise imo.

{Ed002's Note - The potential is there - Roma offer a good environment to develop. Everton was a mistake and never going to last. Certainly Everton could block any move - that will cheer everyone up.}

Sounds easy that ed what's he waiting for tell him to hurry up 😀.

{Ed002's Note - Sadly I doubt you will get the job Skylark.}

lots of good neutral info there ed 002, maybe the coach should be binned off as well, it's ridiculous to think of money we spent and still cannot climb the table or put a settled 1st team out ( injuries aside )

we need to get a winning coach with a winning attitude.

Whilst they may offer a good environment Ed. Will they be willing to offer €35-40 mill to take him in Jan?

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know. Perhaps a loan initially?}

can’t see any club paying what we paid for him
We might get around the 5 million mark we a sell on clause to claw the rest back
Good luck to him, for Everton’s sake, I totally agree with your comments Ed.

How much do you think he is worth Toffee Dave.

I haven't seen enough of him to put a valuation on him Uran. Fair play to you if you have. But a fair few far more knowledgeable people than me seemed to think it was a surprise we managed to sign him at all. He's 19 years old so I'd be a little surprised if his valuation has dropped by over 20m in just a few months.

Better to keep him and bring him along slowly.

Ed are you saying that no one at our club realised he was using us as a stepping stone? (I thought it was plainly obviously) Now they have realised that and want to sell because of it?

Or is Mino/ Moise unhappy that he isn't getting enough game time and it might take an extra season or 2 until he is signed by a big club on a big wage?

{Ed002's Note - The owner struck the deal based on him being a fegular goalscorer and getting a very good return for a couple of years.}

Hes a 19 year old kid what's the point in having a model on buying youngsters to build a team for the future if your going to sell them in 6 months? personally i'd like to see the lad have a run of games then see how he gets on, the fact we don't play through a st dosent help him everything is out wide because of how poor siggy has been this season i'd like to see some one give him the ball early instead of 45 passes around the back and midfield giving the oposition pleanty of time to find there shape an get men behimd the ball, it dosent matter who we play upfront unless your a big target man you will struggle playing as a striker for us with this system.
