Ben Godfrey must be a bit special, the deal looks like £25 million up front and a further £5 million in add ons, Carlo must see something in this lad, also looks like further deals being lined up with a striker linked and Moise off, Happy Days All.

Apparently Norwich only paid 100'000 or so for Godfrey, not so long ago, so great business for them!

He has incredible pace and is strong in the tackle. His height isn't the greatest for a center back but he is also good on the ball having previously been a forward/ midfielder. Would give us the Ratcliff bit we are currently missing in my view. I would also love the Brentford player Benrahma.

After going on some Norwich forums before he was linked with a move, he isn't massively rated. Fans wanted moved to DM as believed Grant Hanley was better! I hope this isn't another panic buy because we are short. At least he can play a few positions and is young and English so getting money back should be feasible. Not even close to fofana though who Leicester have just signed for same price.

Richris if carlo wants him and rates so highly then that's good enough for me he's obviously seen something in him that he likes plus the lads only young so is only going to get better with working with carlo and are coaching team. And remember he was playing for Norwich and there defenders where offered no protection what so ever where as here he will have allan and doucoure protecting are back 4.

Degsy mate the lad is 6 foot 1 not a bad height and no midget and is taller than holgate I think plus you have to take into account he would most probably be playing with possibly a taller cb in Keane if and when carlo brings him into the team but he dose give us something we've been missing a lot which is genuine pace in centre of defence and it's something we haven't had since zouma was on loan.
