Probably would be good for Davies. Feel a little sorry for him, local lad from West Derby which is were I lived until I was 16, sort of lost his way and confidence. Will always remember the goal he scored against City, now all we see is backward passing and no much going forward, a shame really.

Seemed he was set back a year by Koeman and completely wrecked by Allardyce. shame.

He’s made over 100 appearances and offers very little. Saying that I’d rather have him as a squad player than Gomes who offers even less.
