Im not so sure about that Ed. Bought him for £1.5 mill, sell him for say £60mill, that's a huge profit and the model we should be aiming for (self-sustainable etc. ) . My issue would be trusting these with that sort of money.

Could strategy Hugo, we have a ready made replacement in Rondon. Also sell Richarlison, we have a ready made replacement in Iwobi. Also sell Mina, we can use Holgate. How about Doucoure, we could use Davies instead. We should be the richest club in the Championship.

You reinvest the funds in other players with ambition, a high ceiling and sell-on value, Michael. We’ve tried the ‘sign 28+ year old’ route and, now, we’re here. Hence why I said I’m not sure I trust the current set-up with that much money.

There current players and even our better ones have to share some responsibility for this mess. If we can trade players for profit then we will be in a better place than we are now. Other clubs seem to be able to work this business model but they go out and seek the best people. We just have an old boys club. We wouldn't know what the best lined like if it came and slapped us in the face.
