Any truth in the interest in Patterson at Rangers as a right back option?

{Ed002's Note - Nathan Patterson (RB) Manchester United could look to the Rangers player as cover but that would likely not deter the kid. Everton have tried for a year to sign him but are not an attractive option and were only interested in derisory offers. I suspect the others two players will be ahead of him.}

Out of interest, what constitutes a derisory offer for some kid that can't get in the first team of a club that play in a pub league? Or is it just derisory because Steven Gerrard said so?

That cracked me up. I do think the kids got potential but he’s not coming in and replacing Coleman in the starting 11 immediately is he?

It’s no secret that Coleman’s attacking play is nowhere near where it used to be. I would say his legs have gone but he offers nothing going forward, makes a fair few mistakes at the back and we need someone to replace him in the starting 11 if we want to start looking up the table.

I don’t know enough about the lad to pass judgement to b honest. I want him if we sign him, I guess it means he been properly scouted and the gaffer wants him.

I’m very much on the fence on this one.
