As bad as we are I can see 7 points out of 9 coming up starting with 3 against Norwich.

For the first time n 30 years I find myself wondering whether I’d take a loss and Benitez being shown the door. I just can’t see a way forward from where we are with him at the helm. A bit like Big Sam, he seems to portray his feeling that we should all just bow down and feel lucky that he agreed to be here. I’m not someone that wants a change of manager every ) months - just wish we’d gone young, hungry, forward thinking and not old, well fed and boring.

JB, I don't think anyone else would do any good with this set of players. They have been poor for many a manager in the last 6 years.

Looks like the board are going to let rafa get rid of them either now or when contracts run out on the summer and then maybe bring someone else in to develop the long term project of a successful team.

Marco Silva more or less had the same, he finished 8th, he had to go in the end though, Ancelotti had roughly the same as Silva minus idrissa Gueye, he finished badly last year, but was still in with a shout of 4th with about 6-7 games remaining, Benitez has roughly the same minus Rodriguez, plus he has forced Digne out of the club, and he was one of the main creators for DCL, Rafas excuses are wearing thin, if he sets up negatively against the weakest side in the league, and we have a poor result because of it, he should be relieved of duties after the match.

Was on the side of keep rafa in but 25 mins in losing to Norwich, if don't win this then yeah I think he has to go as that signals to me the players either have no confidence or they aren't playing for him.

I’ve been an advocate for patience and judging Rafa when we have our full compliment of players but now I’m starting to get worried that relegation is a real possibility.
